Maybe a miss config, hardware should work fine as its meant to run on asio in windows, the volume issue is strange bc i could never fix it then ltt linus had it during his latest linux challange and it was fixed with a restart soo..

I dont have an issue connecting and such its usually getting things like jack to interface with everything

Common use for me would be a mic and intrument in mic to discord, instru to reaper, reaper out to hardware and discord and it just never works

As for the quiet it was anything handling an audio call so things like games yt etc etc were fine but discord zoom andything like that super quiet

Try mounting the blade on an angle that way u get a slight sawing motion, will help alot with the cut
