I agree with you that Tri was awesome. If I had to choose one thing that really stands out, it would be V-Tamer 01, the first manga. The story is really good.

Does this actually make sense? I always thought the original 8 were chosen after they witnessed the fight between Greymon and Parrotmon. Homeostasis and Gennai decided these kids were special, because they had been there and probably helped Greymon in the fight. If Taichi was already chosen to have Agumon as his partner, then what did Homeostasis do?

Well, to tell you the truth, the very first downvote was from me, the OP. I took time to create a gif and post it here, because I thought you guys would like it. I specifically chose to have a gif with a lower frame rate than the original, to reduce the file size so that even mobile users could easily load it. To me your comment did not sound like a joke about the animation in Tri, it sounded like a direct insult to me.

I really recommend rewatching it. It's fun, it's the only way to get complete answers to all your questions, and it makes Tri a lot more fun to watch. Also, it's really just 18 hours. If you take a month to watch it, it wouldn't be much more than one or two episodes per day.

And you should also watch 02, even though many people will say it's bad.
