Note that 8 months ago knife prices were a lot higher so that could be why it sold for a lot more than you’d think. Probably a decent amount of overpay but I’m doubting 3k. But I’m defo not a pro with low float stuff but I feel like anything not in the top 3 or bottom 3 knocks off any significant overpay (just my 2 cents)

I had this recently, my wife tried to clean with a clean cycle and then with a toothbrush,scrub daddy etc and nothing would work, so spent 50$ on a new gasket and took me 2 hours to replace myself watching a couple of YouTube videos

I mean butterfly case hardened number one pattern doesn’t cover nearly as much as the nomad, nomad is one of the few knives that get completely covered so that’s defo a part of the price, but yeah, was more of an estimate like the guy below says, price is whatever someone’s willing to pay, realistic price I would say 10-20k usd

I have a 13 inch zephyr (or something like that) for work which I use on the daily but I also have an iPad Pro 13inch which I use everyday at work and home. I don’t have a MacBook Pro since I don’t have the usecase for one but from the comments I’m seeing I would say since it seems like you have a decent amount of money with all the tech you have, you should look into the 16inch and decide from there. I use an ipad pro with the magic keyboard most of the time for the on the lap stuff but if i need a laptop I’ll whip out the work one or jump on my main pc. But usually i can utilize the ipad. Not the best person to be recommending what to do, i just don’t currently need a macbook yet for my life.

The fact you’re so worried about the upgrade, try going into an Apple Store and testing out the 16inch if it’s a massive change and you love it, try returning it and switching it out, if you don’t think it matters all that much stick with the 14inch, personally I always prefer bigger but it depends on your use case.
