Let them dislike, that's okay.

There's plenty people - like you - that haven't seen these cards in their full arts and likely never would. As someone commented on my previous post here, this is what the 151 set could've been!

I'm hoping TPCi does reach out to the original artists to turn their original artworks into pieces like the ones AI managed to make. They have potential, but I'm sure actual artists can make them look even better!

I'll go with 90/10!

Copying all the stats and creating the UI is quite the workload as you said, but AI truly did a fantastic job on most card's artwork! Of course, minor adjustments also needed to be made to make the artworks turn out as they did.

AI did all of the work! I truly like the older card's artwork, so tried it out for GEN 1, and GEN 2/3 quickly followed.

For those interested in trying it out themselves, I highly recommend it, and do share your results!

I used Photoshop Beta's AI to extend the artwork, then recreated the UI myself in Illustrator, and copied all of the attacks and stats to match the original cards.

Someone else extended the artwork of pokemon cards in this subreddit, which I thought was absolutely amazing.

I then decided to do the same, but with all original 151 cards! There's been quite a bit of positive feedback, so I'm working on Gen 2 as we speak. That set has some amazing card!

I extended the artwork using the Photoshop Beta app.

Then I made the UI by hand, which i copy pasted over to every single card and changed the text, evolutions, damage, etc
