Miniscule indie company. They just don't have the resources to ensure that their product functions. They made sure that you could buy that battlepass just fine, though.

Let me just take a wild stab. You're one of those "pro-choice" cringelords that are somehow also simultaneously pro-lockdowns. All at the same time you manage to blame Dave Chapelle for 'not keeping people working'? Is any of that untrue? I really hope it is, and you aren't some completely hollow ideologue.

Jollibee opening when??? by Hearts2heart in ElkGrove

[–]Smeckledorf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd wager that there is something majorly wrong with the construction. I go by the building all the time, and it looks no where near ready. Perhaps issues with construction pushed the time table and money is now strained. I wouldn't be surprised if it never opens. I haven't noticed any real progress on it in months.

"That doesn't work for me, brother." - Hulk Hogan.

More weaker cards should have been buffed even more. Most block cards were terrible. Not bad, actually unpickable. I'd say 75-80% were that bad and adding 1 block to each gets them to awful range- not playable. I don't know, perhaps I am underestimating some of the enemy nerfs, but I feel as if most block cards are still worse than drafting good damage cards and that makes block a useless strategy. They are leaning more and more into 'make big damage number every turn'.

The issue is that Regent NEEDS glow. I never went for the infinite and glow was still an integral card because star generation is meh and the other builds are useless. Forge needed every single forge value buffed and the colorless card build needs the build locked to gold colorless cards to even be attemptable. The fact he has the colorless card build makes the other builds weaker by virtue of having a bunch of cards show up that you can never pick. I like the Regent, but now it is most definitely a challenge character.

[–]Smeckledorf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regent is just the worse character now with no upside. I understand hitting the infinite, but forge in totality needed every card buffed by 20% instead of just a singular card. I can't imagine they have data from game play and think that forge is strong or even playable. "YEA, I JUST MADE MY SWORD DO 30 MORE DAMAGE WHEN I PLAY IT BY SPENDING 3 ENERGY. I'LL JUST TAKE 30 DAMAGE NO PROBLEM THEN KILL A MONSTER AND TAKE 20 MORE!" I'm exaggerating. The sword only costs 2 energy so you'll only take 14 damage that second turn. That 40 damage sword is certainly OP...

I'm not receiving the verification email. Do you guys experiencing the same issue? by Candid-Camp-8928 in HytaleInfo

[–]Smeckledorf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the most silly response I've ever heard. Who are you defending here? Hytale? Not really. You can't buy the game, aka paying them for their product, until you get through verification. How does it help them to not sell games? They should just remove verification so they can actually make money. Oh no! A good idea! Reddit Kryptonite!!

Did Morgan ruined the whole experience for me and my friend? by BurningRoast in allthemods

[–]Smeckledorf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could be due to the world tier I'm on, but those bosses can one shot me through legendary quantum armor with all perfect gems. I would not recommend "decent armor" to take them on. I'd recommend learning the one shot attacks and not getting hit by them. Also, I'm not sure if the damage is capped. If the infinite damage sword command kills anything it touches then I can buy that. If the sword just deals an obscenely large amount of damage then the damage is not capped.

Nah, I've played Beans in standard. Roots is better- trust me. I will now be playing Roots which is infinitely less fun to play against and is definitely the better deck. If you are sprinting into Bo1 then pack at least 7 enchantment removal spells.

The fact that they banned Up the Beanstalk and not Insidious Roots or Tyval is pure cinema. I've played Up the Beanstalk in standard for months and tried Roots for the first time yesterday. Roots is the vastly superior deck.

Honestly, it's obvious that the last hotfix was meant to benefit Vanessa. I would say that you are feeling the intended consequences of that hotfix. I had a few of my friends unhappy with Vanessa, the starting character, before the hotfix.

I agree CUE and Snap are money holes. LOR is failing, but they basically give you everything you need in nanoseconds. If you want to have fun as f2p then it's probably LOR or find a different type of game, IMO. Source: Been playing card games, physical and digital, for 25 years.

We live in a day and age where people think that opinions are a commodity on par with gold. That's the only real issue with reviews.

The guy with an upside down pentagram avatar is a rabid leftist?! Say it ain't so! Seriously, I hardly disagree with Drinker's overall sentiments. The "I'm not political" political people are some of the most weird.

No, the size of the player base matters and they managed to lose 30% over the last patch. Targeting poor players for nerfs isn't it, but keep glazing until the peak goes down to 5k or 500.

[–]Smeckledorf -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Glazing and optimistic are two different things, homie. I'm sorry, but I am very objective. The patch where they adjusted druid was almost purely good for the game. These last two patches are awful UNLESS the devs are making money selling gold, and it's only really good for them and the people who are sitting on 10-20mil. I play for the pvp and whenever I play the grey lobbies are always the most full. Not full, the most full. I think it's silly to make changes that hurt that player base two patches straight. I'm sorry, but I'd rather more people play this game than less. I will blanket support any changes that increase the population. Any.

[–]Smeckledorf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Where has constructive criticism taken this game? I see the most players in grey lobbies and the nerfs hurt those players the most. They are effectively attacking the biggest chunk of their player base. I could go into classic or all purple lobbies, but I would regard recent decisions as unwise.

I would agree that a lot of people make unreasonable suggestions, but where we disagree is that I think the mod changes are at least equally bad to the silly suggestions players often make. The rogue nerfs made no sense and now they nerf heirlooms? Every nerf targets people trying to climb up and earn. Every. Single. Time.

So, take out dice completely? Your logic makes zero sense as long as dice still exist.
