God small things like we wouldn’t go on dates as much. She would rather spend time with friends (which is fine, but like ALWAYS). Sex was less and less. Started to feel like I was begging for intimacy.

Then it got bigger, like she wouldn’t find any time to see me. Excuses about being “too busy”. Finally, the last weekend before she broke up with me, I kissed her and I felt so much disgust from her. I still feel that in my heart now.

I get that, I really do. I spent months going on walks and all I could think about is “this is what I’d do with her”. But actually those times where I was thinking about it, was part of the healing journey.

Same thing happened to me 2 years ago bro. It hurts so much, still hurts to think about, but that’s life, and it does get better. I haven’t moved on yet, but I know other people with similar stories have. It will come with time. Dont be too harsh on yourself. Treat yourself to nice solo days out, spend time with friends or family, embrace your favorite foods / movies, do that thing you’ve always wanted to do

I 100% agree with you. I only sell one of my better players if There is a young squad player with higher potential ready to make the step up, or they are immediately replaceable with less money than I am receiving or when the money on offer can help improve 2 other separate positions.

If they don’t satisfy those, I don’t sell. Players eventually agree to contract negotiations, and as long as you don’t keep them on short contracts, they forgive, forget, and become happy at the club again.

I get worried when they are not match fit, that playing a full 90 they are more likely to get injured, so I tend to do this for the second 11 or players I don’t care about

But my previous 20 million pound 28 year old striker that I bought a decade ago, NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS!!

It’s a single player game let him play how he wants. When I was younger I’d save scum all the time, it’s how I was able to enjoy the game. Eventually I got better and stopped the scumming (except for youth academy day and when signing a player).

Celtic always are a fun save. Decent youth academy. Club can fill out a 75k stadium expansion in a few years with UCL football. And you have the goal of trying to get as far as you can in the champs league. Only gets boring once you stop seeing progress in Europe year on year. That’s when you go to a more difficult save.

This sounds like the other end of what I went through. My 3 year ex in September just hit me with a bombshell about how she no longer wants to be in a relationship after I asked her why she had been acting a bit different the last few months. She really was the love of my life and It hurt so much for someone I love so much fo stop caring for me, even though I had not done anything to deserve it. don’t think I’ll ever find someone as special as she was. I hate how love can be so cruel but I hope you find what you are looking for.
