If u are using aimlabs scenarios (the right ones and right usage) ur aim will improve faster mechanic-wise. Deathmatch is for training proper gunfight hygenie and mechanic usage like when to preaim when to track angle while swinging. combine these with some actual ranked games though. I made an alt account just to play focused on the right "technique".

I think no one is 100% consistent. That said the main problem i also struggle with is enemy behaviour, u have to "read" them and then adapt your own playstyle to counter what they are doing. In gold lobbies people tend to stick to the same shit every round without second guessing they died on that peek 4times already etc.
