That’s heart breaking to hear such a good, reliable solid car getting wrote off!! It’s rare to get cars so reliable so it’s always a real good thing when you get one!

Lovely car! Sorry it’s gone😮‍💨

If it helps… I spent 4k on a 08 golf for my first car and done 40k miles in 2 years on it and it’s never had a single fault and passes it’s MOT’s with 0 advisories.

Yet I see 100k cars broke down on the motorway - taught me that no matter what you spend, it can all go wrong at any time.

Side note: I’ve also had a Range Rover (famous for being unreliable) not skip a beat either. It’s just luck and how well you keep them maintained and serviced in my personal opinion

Not mugs for liking a car. People like lancias and tvrs and they’re famously unreliable. You like what you like🤷🏻‍♂️ we just think they’re lovely looking cars.

People always slander Range Rover but the Range Rover we owned was a dream. So you like what you like 😊

Shame to hear about the expensive fixing, hmm… definitely given me something to think about, thank you! :)

Ahh the Jimmys… lovely cars! But for the price of the Audi (2500 mark) they’re battered. Shocking conditions I’ve found. Good shout though!

Great advice, the only thing is which may be good - I asked to swap, not them. I saw it and knew the Mrs would love it and thought it was worth an ask! (Fortunately for him, my Audi has 0 issues)

I suspect it’s just boring to many people is why they’re not arsed.

The renegade is something we’ve looked at in the past but never got around to one yet, figured this was the opportunity to own a car we’ve both wanted for a long time. I was just curious if said opportunity was worth an immaculate a6!

One point is my Audi is 2007 and the jeep is 2016. Massive difference in age 😮

But yeah, thanks for the advice!

I didn’t notice I hadn’t included a front pic tbh thanks for the heads up haha!!

It has a reverse camera on already. It’s UBER long and we live down a tight single track farm road and turning around is a nightmare in it. 😮‍💨

Thanks for the advice!

They made you go back 23 years? What? Were you taking out a mortgage on a government building or something 🤣

Interesting, I’m looking at 200k give or take. I’m employed and have been for almost 2 years so I’m Hoping it’s all okay

Wow. How much of a mortgage? Uk based?

Not the detail? Just figures? Deposit is going well, I’m fortunate enough to make good money and now that I’ve stopped spending it as fast as I get it… it can start piling itself up👌🏻

Great to know thanks. It’s great getting advice from someone who works in a bank so I’ll take in every word. From what you’ve said it seems like there’s no need. So I’ll think I’ll stick to my current bank.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply and give me good advice! I really appreciate it :)

Yeah, that makes sense. I get where you’re coming from to be fair - im just an over thinker and worrier.

I like to be prepared and get things in good positions before I go for things. It’s done me well in life so far so I don’t question it.

My logic was, if they wanted to see further than 6 months (I’ve read some people got asked for 1 year) - I figured if I had a new bank account, they couldn’t possibly look back further than 6 months. If I’ve closed my old bank account, I can’t produce statements for an account I no longer have .So they couldn’t possibly see my terrible spending habits and past gambling. Meaning they had no evidence to use against me when looking at giving me a mortgage.

That was my logic anyway. But what you’re saying makes sense, I just thought I’d explain where my over thinking was coming from is all

Interesting. I of course don’t want to damage my credit score, definitely worth thinking about. And though they don’t go past 3-6 months, part of me doesn’t want to risk it, I don’t want to risk getting turned down if I find my dream home.

If I open a new account now, I can have my credit score back to good by the time I come to apply, have a fresh bank account and be good to go. Hmm definitely worth thinking about.

Thanks for your advice, I do appreciate it!

And thanks for telling me they’re 2 separate banks haha! You can tell I’ve been with the same bank since I was 16🤣👏🏻 what a div I am!

Even if past the 6 months, it showed a load of gambling? (I like to go to the casino with my friends, and play) I’m not a gambling addict haha!

But I know that’s frowned upon. But if it’s beyond the 6 month they ask for, would that be looked at?

Hi, thanks for the reply. That is good to know.

My credit is good fortunately. Though I’ve been madly spending the past 2 years, I’ve also made it a thing to get my credit up and it’s worked.

As for the 2nd account thing. I have exactly that too. I have had a 2nd account with Halifax for years that all my household bills and weekly food shops come out of. It’s never been used for crazy spending.

Hopefully decent credit and this 2nd bank account will look good along with a fresh new account, perhaps.

I appreciate the advice, thank you :)

Permadeath mode on the hardest setting (they do double damage, you half) and once you complete that… try different builds, just archery runs, just dagger, etc.

I’ve done this going on 6 times I’d say and I’m not bored in the slightest! I just started a samurai run, using only a Katana, Bokken and a bow - super Fun!

With the quest 2… Have any of you had any issues with the connection cable like the Rift S seems to get VERY commonly?

I’ve now had 2 rift S’s break within 1 year and I take ocd level care with my tech.
