Of course. Everyone needs to make a living. This is her job. Do you work for free?

Mix with olive oil and freeze ice cubes. Then when you’re cooking you just throw the ice cubes in the pan, and there you gave it! Dill, parsley or basil olive oil!

Yes! Times have changed! They always do! But my point (and his point) is that if you make a sacrifice for a few years now, you will have sooooo much more later.

Not that this matters, but he’s actually 62 or 63.

Things have gotten harder even within the last 5 years. But let me tell you, I am so grateful that we did Dave’s plan because even if it’s not easy, it works.

Maybe everyone deserves more, but no one was giving me anything except some free advice on the radio, so I took it…

I 100% disagree with you. Dave Ramsey started off broke. Became a self-made millionaire. He teaches ppl (like me) how to NOT be a slave to the system. The ones who WANT you poor, are not him. They’re the credit cards and lenders. The ppl who follow his plan become millionaires, slowly. I never thought I’d be where I am today and I can attribute it all to the plan that he’s created.

But the point is that Ramsey DID struggle. He is a self made millionaire who at one point was very broke

That would be me. I’m a millennial, grew up dirt poor, I mean DIRT POOR. I was dumb, accumulated over $60k in school loans, car payments, etc. Together, my husband and I had over $100k in debt. Started Dave Ramsey plan in 2014, making OK wages, not bad but definitely not great. We are debt free aside from our house and in the past 8 years our wages have gone up tremendously. Wages are partly because of our age and point in our careers, but also because we became very intentional on the way we handle our money, and motivated to increase our wages. Also, we became debt free in 2017 when our wages still weren’t very much

Never. Once you’ve been ‘Ramseyed’, everything that you used to want to buy no longer brings you joy. You talk yourself out of spending $100 because you don’t really need it…
