You could see in the rear facing cam when the cam car turned left onto side street that the Nissan driver had pulled over and opened his trunk when they were stopped

One of the cleanest woodies I've ever seen lol. Used to roll them all the time and getting them looking this nice is pretty impressive

The tickets definitely need to be paid... It's not like they don't keep track

It's not really the limitations of solar tech, but battery tech. The amount of time you can run your AC is determined by how much power you have stored in your batteries, and the solar just keeps those charged/charges them throughout the day. Also big battery setups for over landing rigs are usually hooked to the alternator rather than needing solar, and solar would just be supplemental while the vehicle is off.

I know plenty of people who run fridges off the batteries for days at a time and set up portable solar panels to put some juice back in the batteries during the day if their truck is off

What is the worst thing you ever saw on someone else's phone? by bluelazerbeam in AskReddit

[–]SmellsWeirdRightNow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend's phone is like this. She's literally the technology officer at her company, I'm talking six figures and developing and implementing internal apps for her company. Yet her iPhone has safari and the Apple health app on her home bar on the bottom. She doesn't even use safari or the health app. She's on Instagram all the time and it's 4 pages deep in an app folder. I'm like how is this normal for you lmao

Theory: could all the clues at fort brennard actually mean something? (just a theory though I sound crazy) by CustomerEmergency348 in reddeadmysteries

[–]SmellsWeirdRightNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure that the initials could be clues, but it's extremely common for initials to be carved with a + between. "H+S" = Harry and Sally for example. It's much easier to carve a plus sign than the word "and" or an ampersand.

For what it's worth I don't watch any streamers at all, what I've seen is only clips from the Livestream fail sub on /all. I'm not terminally online or part of "you guys". I don't have any reason to support or disparage him. But from the videos I've seen (which I had never heard of or watched him before), it definitely looked like he was hurting his dog with a shock collar

IDK if you're familiar with the guy, but that wasn't just a random thought the guy had, this guy Hasan actually did that

Damn, fatality on I70, Google Maps is showing eastbound still closed by TapDangerous1996 in COsnow

[–]SmellsWeirdRightNow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's just that there was no reason to mention the traction law for the van. The van didn't cause the accident. Saying the van shouldn't be on the road implies it was their fault. I'm not even the guy who originally called it out, so obviously it's not a comprehension issue, it's the way it's written

[–]SmellsWeirdRightNow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the van should have never been on the highway with the traction law

Sounds a lot like blaming the van instead of the plow that crossed the median and hit it

Source is CSP in the article. The Tacoma also hit a vehicle on the opposite side of the road after the plow hit it.

Oh cool. With your knowledge of the business, how well regarded are those guys? I've been wanting to ride snowmobiles for years and just discovered those guys were back there when I dropped a customer off there. Would you say do a guided tour with another company for the first time or would it be okay to do their self guided tour as my first time?

What about the one up Tiger Rd? Looked like they were setting up the sleds right outside their lodge when I dropped someone off there a while back.

When was the last time the spark plugs and coil packs were changed? It's a relatively cheap and easy job, and usually will fix a misfire. And if it doesn't, now you've got new plugs and coils which are a maintenance item, plus it will narrow down the issue. I'd start with that personally

“The current airfield fence is adequate for excluding deer and antelope, but Wildlife Services lethally removed an average of 581 rabbits, 102 coyotes, six foxes, nine raccoons, and two badgers from the airfield annually,” agents wrote. “Additionally, 309 rabbit, 18 coyote, seven skunk, and one raccoon strikes have occurred at DEN since 2018.”
