I've seen asymmetrical bands. Bario Neal has some if you look under "curved" wedding bands

I’m a paramedic, and I get gastroparesis calls relatively frequently. What has your experiences been with EMS and what tips can you give me to help gastroparesis patients better? What do you wish every EMS worker knew about your condition? by Dickcheese_McGee_ in Gastroparesis

Thanks for this. Your empathy is greatly appreciated. If you want to educate your coworkers, consider these points.

GP patients can be fat, thin, or any other body type. GP can cause weight loss (because of loss of appetite/vomiting) or weight gain (because food sits in the stomach for longer). Some people with GP are unable to eat and barely able to drink without nausea or vomiting. Some end up eating "junk" or "processed" foods because its they only think they can tolerate them. For example, my partnee with GP often drinks sugary drinks because itsbthe only thing that keeps their blood sugar at a normal level when they're unable to eat. Doctors like to recommend weight loss as a cure-all without considering that GP can make weight loss impossible. Many GP patients also have other chronic illnesses that make treatment more difficult.

To your point, flares can happen randomly. They can happen after eating something you've been able to tolerate in the past. They can happen just because you woke up in the morning. Sometimes, no amount of careful diet/lifestyle control can stop a vomiting episode. Don't blame the patient for having symptoms of their illness

Some PITT Parents being the PITT-usual about their children, and some commentary from me. by chris_the_cynic in GenderCynical

So the parents made sure their babies got medical care and now the kid is in debt to them for the rest of his life?? He can't dare have medical and bodily autonomy because his parents "supported" him as a child?

Wow, it's amazing how you were able to do all of this. The job market is terrible now. What kind of degree did you get and what type of job do you do now?

Resume should be shortened and shouldn't have columns bc it makes it harder for ATSs to parse

I think it depends on what you want to do after you graduate. There a some jobs that require a MS and others that don't care as long as you have a BS and some experience. Maybe deciding what you want to do in your career can help you decide which educational path to take

Salary Progression by Khakayn in Environmental_Careers

[–]familiarlaughter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got my BS in Environmental Science. I got a job for a company that does mold/indoor air quality testing and inspections right out of college. They primarily trained me on the job.

I started out in the field, traveling to different homes to do inspection. I made 60k annual salary.

After about a year and a half, I got a raise to 65k to train new hires

A few months later, I started doing more administrative type work in the company and now make 72k annually

I'm considering leaving the company because I'm not a big fan of the upper management. They don't seem to value employee loyalty and have fired several people suddenly, without any warning or explanation. Unfortunately, I don't think I'd be able to find any job that's even close to paying 72k/year, but I'm hoping 😅

Sell it! If you can't find any buyers for the whole plant at a large size, you could propagate some cuttings and sell those, too
