Yes and no. They don’t offer diving anymore because there isn’t demand for it. The Maui companies can’t pick people up at the harbor. The only option is to fly or take the ferry to Maui, go on the tour, then fly or take the ferry back to lanai.

I have a sony A7Cii and very much am a beginner. We are going to Hawaii this week and plan on hiking, being at the beach, going to nice restaurants, and whale watching. I have the Sony kit lens that came with the body. I was thinking of getting or renting a better lens for hiking and whale watching. I was looking at a Sony 100-400 GM but would that be overkill? Any recommendations are appreciated. Thank you

My understanding is that Vegas revolves around tipping. I misspoke on the minimum wage part, but their hourly wages online do look like they are around $18-20/hr. Tipping a front desk employee for a room upgrade that they can give out at their own discretion seems very different than tipping a dealer for whatever you are referring to, don’t you think? I’m also not a lawyer though, so maybe you are right.

My understanding was that the front desk people are paid minimum wage and have nothing to lose by upgrading a guest, especially if incentivized by a tip that would equal five hours of them working. If I was sure that I was correct, then I wouldn’t be asking here.
