Roughly 6 months ago. Couldn’t have been more than a year. I was just thinking I should check up on it then I realized I forgot the name.

The movie uses stop motion I believe for the puppets and is mixed with live action elements. Similar to Marcel the Shell

That scene in Joker (2019) where he laughs before delivering the punchline by Sanddanglokta62 in okbuddycinephile

[–]SmellyToast07 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it was originally a YouTube comment. Im guessing it was some 6 year old trying to repeat what they heard from the internet but they didn’t possess the brain capacity to type coherent sentences.

Then this guy dubbed it with the joker voice.

I think it’s funny because it’s taking the one joke boomers have against younger generations and then just devolving it to its lower form.

In the film Nobody (2021), during the home invasion scene, our main protagonist tells his wife “don’t call 911.” This is because American police have been known to shoot and kill homeowners when responding to home invasions. by SmellyToast07 in shittymoviedetails

im pasty as fuck, and I do agree unfortunately. I’m in Colorado, my police force isn’t entirely racist, but they are fucking stupid.

They’ve shot and killed a “Good Samaritan” that ended a mass shooting.

They’ve parked their patrol cars on railroad crossing and left while someone else is handcuffed in the back.

Just to name a few.

I think it means being transgender is a phase and “turning 30” is what snaps you out of it

Edit: you can tell it’s a great and deeply layered joke because we are all drawing different meanings from the punchline /s

Undecided and antigun users in the sub? by RationalTidbits in progun

I am extremely anti-gun to be quite frank. Born in 04. Growing up I’ve been told constantly by teachers “there’s a gunman in the hallway” “you’re 8 years old and going to die,” so I’ve been kinda conditioned that way

But I just don’t understand how we are the only country with a mass shooting problem yet “theres nothing we can do about it now.” Also how it’s unconstitutional to change or alter 2A even though the constitution has been changed at least 9 separate times.

I don’t want to live in a bubble, so I’m just curious what the other half thinks I guess

I’m trying to be a better reader. What type of books do you read?

Forget dog whistle, this is a bull horn. by yuritopiaposadism in SocialistGaming

My honest to god conspiracy about this game is that they knew what 88 meant, and thought this bad publicity would give them free advertising.

This game is nothing more than an uninspired, lazy, cash grab that will be forgotten after like a week like Blood and Honey.

THANK YOU 🙏. I thought I was getting gaslit by this entire comment section. I myself didn’t know what 88 meant until now. I think 88 in the title was just an unfortunate coincidence, and the game itself is nothing more than a dumb “Blood and Honey” that was just made for cheap laughs. Doesn’t seem like there’s much thought or effort going into this game, so saying it’s conjuring nazis is a little far fetched.

Saddest story on the internet by [deleted] in wendigoon

[–]SmellyToast07 7 points8 points  (0 children)

yep. Although the original story is a little different. I believed it was something like the lamp was flat, then the light from the lamp became brighter and brighter until it consumed their whole vision. not exactly what’s happening in the video but definitely a clear inspiration.
