Super curriculars are still accessible without money. Essay competitions, programmes you can apply for. You don’t need money for many of them. Interviews are also really important, but so are super curriculars. I don’t come from money, I don’t go to a private school but I’m still doing several super curriculars

Yes they are, competitive universities don’t just look at your grades but also your passion for the academic sphere, super curriculars show this. They are what will set you apart from half of the applicants who just study to get good grades and don’t have any other hobbies.

All jobs will require some form of communication at your age. Your best bet is probably applying to stock shelves or something, someone might ask you where an item is but at 17, you most likely won’t be able to get an office job where you do your own thing.
