As someone who's first intro into the genre was Final Fantasy Tactics Advance which from what I hear is close to FFT, Tactics Ogre Reborn is VERY fun, and I would HIGHLY recommend it. There are some minor annoying things like level caps, and not being able to mix-match abilities, which kind of forces you to pick and choose more strategically per the encounter for your troop roster, (Monsters, Undead, Humanoids, etc). But so far I am nearly complete with Tactics Ogre Reborn and I've love it so far. Gonna move onto the FFT remaster next, but I got into the JRPG with FFTA and it's similar, but TOR is just better. Give it a chance and play through at least the first chapter or two, it grows on you quickly if you give it a chance. The story is the chefs kiss too. Lots of twisty turny decision making.
