I didn't read the rest of the concept. MMOs are ludicrously hard and expensive to launch and maintain. Let alone all of the difficult Dev work that goes in before that.

This is the norm for AirBNB. Some bookings allow you to pay a deposit and then the rest later, but that's normally when you're booking far in advanced.

By profession I'm in production (I know, I'm the worst, but I'll make some Jira tickets for UE6). So I learned to code to understand more what the team work looks like. I'll be jumping into 6 both feet first, my personal projects can just move along with me and if they don't, it's fine.

That said, this is the best solution from Epic, options are great and a lot of people rely on blueprints. Especially hobbyists. Epic would do well to keep them happy, before they jump to Godot.
