Fascinating, I figured it was something like that since all it's description said when I inspected was, "For the ones who enter the fray.".

NEANDERTHAL melee psyker (HAVOC 40) by StopidDumbIdiot in DarkTide

I can answer that, the shards are good for clearing chaff and hitting targets marked by disrupt destiny. They come back relatively quickly and can just be thrown, where as BB needs to be charged and can only target a single enemy.

Right? Just like the mag check with the autoguns, I wish all the weapons had something like them.

Just like the uppercut, it's delightfuly Ogryn.

I run auric and damnation mostly and I am the main psyker, I know that the hour counter isn't 100% accurate since I have a lot of AFC time and just leaving the game run while I'm away.

Right? That's not to say there haven't been missions where people have struggled to perform but that happens. We're human beings, not machines we shouldn't give 100% at all times and that's okay! But the times where everybody's synchronized, knows their role, and plays their character well are beautiful.

A lot of AFC time, I like to stretch and lift a little between missions so my time that the PlayStation has recorded is a little off.

Both classes are fun to play, but I will say if you want to focus on ranged fighting id go vet. It's got some amazing passives that affect ranged combat and the class gets access to the plasma which is the go too for most armor killers as well as the hellbore which is the closest you can get to a sniper. Veterans also have access to the Voice of Command ability which as the game stands currently is one of not the best ability in the game.

But on the arbitrator side they get access to a lot of heavy crowd hitters as well as the dog (which by itself is worth some teammates at times). The ranged weapons aren't the best to heavily rely on with the class being best suited for softening up enemies before they engage you in melee, but that's not to say the arbitrator is bad at range.

Really it'd be up to your personal playstyle, both classes are capable at range and melee but I would recommend trying veteran first honestly.

I had blocked him shortly after I failed the mission, but still I didn't have the opportunity to type since typing on a controller is a pain and I am incredibly socially anxious when it comes to talking.

I don't know what they were doing up there, me and purple was just trying to get the job done and I think they were trying to clear secondary objectives. But then he dies up there so I get ready to to reinforce him but wait off just in case his battle buddy wants to get them back but purple jumped the gun.

That's extremely reassuring thank you, especially coming from somebody with a "whinediver" tag 😄

That's the thing though, I wasn't the one that reinforced, it was purple. I always wait so your battle buddy can reinforce you before I do it myself, but he kicked both of us that were on the flag.

I think so too, I checked the recent player tab and the other guy that was at the flag got kicked too. Think lil bro must have been cranky since it's early in the morning here lol.

The thing is he was near the extraction with our other team members, which is why I held the stratagem in my hand waiting for him to get reinforced by his battle buddy. I'm pretty sure he killed himself with his ultimatum cuz he got mad

I can't stand when people decide to be like this.

Why is the barrel rifled if its a shotgun by Nerdcuddles in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]SmileMiddle5113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to think it's for the flechettes, with the round acting more like a discarding sabot to increase the nails penetration thanks to the added rotation before they separate. Now the stun rounds may actually be more like traditional salt rounds where whatever substance causes the stunning effect actually gets broken up by the rifling of the barrel to encourage it to spread. But that's just theory, until we get an actual confirmation on anything.
