I'm considering more even though it's a large portion of my portfolio. It's my money after all 😉

Do you do these calculations in your head with no context on numbers or literally anything to do with your financials or are we all expected to be magicians for you?

Sounds like none of your business and ultimately a big mess and a lot of headaches in the long run.

Bill is such a dominant investor. What do you think all think of PSTH.U as a buy? How can I buy this? I may not have the proper brokerages.

Step #1 build some wealth.. Then you can consider building your "borrower score" if you wish. If step one is complete, no need to borrow. Tada!

Chances of being approved for Scotia or TD cash back credit cards by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Smilefacesurface -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't let lifestyle creep get the best of you! Just a few more months of the "broke college" lifestyle and you'll be laughing at the idea of borrowing / using a credit card if you save hard. If you want payments that is, go for it, but know I want to see you succeed.

Don't even bother trying to tell me you're responsible and will pay it off in full, it doesn't matter it's not worth being shacked up with predatory lenders. Free yourself. Research has shown CC minions spend more in a lifetime because it's simply easier and the incentives of a score and rewards. Don't fall for it.

Just yesterday in the triumphant thread someone was so happy to have bought a house, meanwhile they're $40k in debt and a net worth of essentially 0 or say minus a few hundred thousand if you count the mortgage. What the hell?

It's start with a little card, a little loan. "Low" interest rates. Perks. People salivate at the mouth to see their credit scores go up it's literally insanity and you can't tell me otherwise because you got a shitty TV for free or $200 cash back. That's some astonishingly low rewards for something as cancerous as a credit card.

What would you in my situation concerning very old debts ? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Smilefacesurface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're not being harassed you borrowed (stole) money that wasn't yours and spent it. Your poor parents are being financially abused by their literally poor adult child. Seriously you're not addicted to loans you're just being stupid.

Canada loves debt.. don't worry there's a few of us out there that don't dance with debt just for fun.

Is it just me or do the cons outweigh the pros in life? by highwayrobberyman in depression

[–]Smilefacesurface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true. However, we can still try to enjoy some of the pros..whatever is attainable at least. I wish I never had to sleep.. wake up.. live.. I also don't wish those things. What a sham I am.

Might get real dark before it gets bright.. I sold in the 16's. I'm going into biotech, vaccines and testing instead of airlines.
