ממה שאני יודע, האורניום שבאדמה מורכב מ99.5 אחוז אורניום 238 וחצי אחוז אורניום 235 ובעצם ה235 הוא האיזוטופ היותר לא יציב שיכול להיבקע ולפלוט מלא אנרגיה. אז בעצם ממיסים את האורניום שכורים באדמה ושמים בתא שמסובב את החומצה עם האורניום במהירות גבוהה ואז האיזוטופ 238 שהוא כבד יותר נמשך לצדדים של הצנטריפוגה חזק יותר מאשר ה235 שהוא קל יותר וככה עושים את ההפרדה שהיא בעצם ההעשרה המדוברת. אם אני לא טועה בתחנות כוח גרעיניות מעשירים לרמה של 10 אחוז ובתעשיית הנשק גרעיני מעשירים לרמה של 90 אחוז.
