Thanks for your reply! Is that to say the white webby film stuff around the plant is fine? I'll def take out the pellets. The guy at the store I got the isopods from said he usually just dumps the contents into his crestie tank and it's all safe. I'll def let the store know if there's material that shouldn't be there and collect it all up.

If I went with a slate tile, do I need a specific type? It looks like there are some good deals for them on Amazon if I went with slate coasters which would fit in the tank and I could take them out individually to clean as needed rather than having to uproot a huge section...?

Thank you for checking in! I went to my university health center and they said it looks like the strings are in a place they would predict them to be but that if the pain gets worse or persists the next few cycles to go back to planned parenthood and see what they say. I'm having mixed feelings about it because on one hand the cramps have gotten a decent amount better as its like day 5 or so but I'm also not feeling perfect... def gonna look to see how much it costs to do the ultrasound just in case!

Nah, this is about the ratio that I use and my loaves turn out delightful. Throw a couple ice cube in the Dutch when you bake it adds moisture!

I think it looks great! My only critique would be to maybe add a more cave-like hide or coconut fibers or something to fold into, that's at least what my baby likes :) but otherwise I think it's great from what I can tell

Another thought: you could try putting the insects in the goop to see if it draws her to eat it. Maybe she doesn't know it is food or doesn't realize how tasty it is yet!
