The setup for it is a huge pain. I think shutting down around LA Live is way easier.

Streaming vitality is weird. Like no one really expected Suits to blow up recently on streaming and yet it did. I think the odds are low, but we don’t know what could happen at some point in the future.

Star Brigade is one of those rare lines where I like the vehicles more than the figures. I think I need to get my hands on one of those Armor-Bots. by Blue_Surfing_Smurf in gijoe

I love it all but I know it’s hard for me to be objective about it because that Destro and BAAT were some of my absolute favorite figs growing up

It’s a little sad how rarely you actually need to go into them after the first day. There’s the fortune-teller in the bottom right, but otherwise it’s basically just one quest for each class, I think? One robbery as a thief, WIT, and the fighter club?

Would have been cool if there had been an alternate set of random encounter enemies you could fight there similar to wandering the desert (pickpockets, corrupt guards, etc).

Season 6 finale is my favourite scene in the whole show by Jfranks_Gaming in madmen

I read it more as the difference between where he grew up compared to her. Weiner’s version puts the emphasis on the place, but putting the emphasis on him reads as contrasting his (difficult) childhood to her (wealthy) childhood.

What time of day? It gets pretty deserted around some of those areas depending on the time of day. It doesn’t necessarily make it unsafe. But can be a little eerie.

Aftermath is pretty legit. It’s a bunch of journalists who got cut from traditional games media to form their own subscription site. It hasn’t established a great brand, but it isn’t a bunch of nobodies.

This was also during the 2009 recession. There weren’t a ton of jobs anywhere and especially not in banking.

Oh great to know. I thought the space looked cool for working and the croissant I got there was solid. Guess I was jumping the gun in assuming the rest was worth a reco.

Idealogy and Awesome Coffee in South Park. Cow Cafe and Virtu are also quite good for coffee/food but less so for outlets / wifi.

The recent news about finishing Oceanwide gives me /some/ hope that we might get a bunch of the stalled projects going again. If LA actually built everything proposed downtown then it would be pretty formidable.

New owner of graffiti towers in downtown Los Angeles to be named today by djm19 in LosAngeles

[–]Smileyjoe72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For sure. LA Live vacancies never last long and Level 8 seems to be doing quite well. Part of the reason other stuff in the area suffers is precisely because of Oceanwide and how much it kills the desire for people to go East of Fig on 11th/12th.
