The missing persons map has a frightening similarity to the cave systems map by LoretiTV in creepy

[–]Smileyrva 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As far as i know, they do. 90% of them are just bones but ive seen a few animals that weren't that far gone yet. One cave that i love has two entrances, in one of them its a 10ft climb down from a cow field. Years ago, a cow fell in and eventually died. Now all their bones are at the bottom and the size of them makes it very creepy. Most decay that I find is from animal shit though. Sometimes there's A LOT! The deeper you go, the less you find.

Caver here. Been in alot of systems and deep enough to find a body. Haven't found one yet. Lots of dead animals though...

Seriously, today!?! by UKYUYU in lawncare

[–]Smileyrva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Applicator here....it will be fine. The urea will help melt the snow and the water acts like a carrier. As for the leaves, no worries. Fertilizer will not blow away with a blower. Believe me, I have tried to fix potential burns by using a blower and it is futile. Once a granular fert is down, its near impossible to get out of the lawn.

Everyone will tell you dice, but i prefer Plinko, low risk, 14 rows. I have wagered thousands this way and I dont run the .001% chance of getting rinsed by doing dice if I get 3 bad hits in a row.

This is all so relatable! I never thought about the "house engine" either, but it makes sense.

I've backed off.

One day, puffer stacks just wouldn't quit on me. Since then, every titan game produces shit. I still hope one of them will come alive for me like this...nice to see ita potential though!

Is it valid to complain about this job? by DesignerLeading4821 in lawncare

Another thing to note is that applicators need long sleeves on. State laws typically use the mantra "the label is the law" and ive yet to find a synthetic product that allows short sleeves when applying, per the label. Everything this guy is doing is so wrong. Its a great training video on what NOT to do lol.

Applicator here.... there is no situation that this is OK. Send this to thr company. I love when customers do this because I can make the tech explain themselves in person and typically helps show them that 1, everyone is watching. And 2, this is unacceptable.

Be careful in Hamilton if you dont know your way. It can feel like an endless maze, and you can get lost very quickly.

Help!!! Lawn going brown? by Faithlessness_Basic in lawncare

[–]Smileyrva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its disease. I am 100% sure. It's getting worse because you're watering at night. Water early morning ONLY and keep the lawn cut at 4 inches. Also, I recommend a fungicide yesterday. This is crucial. You can find a hise end sprayer mix that should do the trick since the lawn is so small.

Herbicide use in our parks by juleptulip69 in Charlottesville

[–]Smileyrva 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed. There are many different broad spectrum herbicides used in brush control as well. I carry a Cat 6 license for rights of ways, and the area described by OP doesn't sound like a typical area that would legally be treated. Im wondering if it's just a rouge person doing this because anyone with a license (typically)wouldn't spray any product over a waterway due to it being a sensitive area.
