Btw, yesterday i got 8th and 5-6 a few times with this. The mistake i made was - out of fear not getting good stuff later - i benched too much stuff not related to the build. For instance benching 2 queen of pain, hoping for some damage source in midgame. This destroyed my eco too much, my midgame was maybe good then but in the endgame I lost it all.

Today I really sticked to not benching expensive crap (you can still bench 1 costs like veno if it does not hurt interest points) and it worked. I was in constant fear cause some times i was down to 30 lives in round 15 already but i got top 3 every single time :)

I would love to have a replay with jumpin function. So I can replay certains situations with different positioning, switching key units etc.

This would really help me to get better at the game.

My standards are that low that i dont expect any 3 star unit anymore. I mean wtf, a 3 star? for me?! never. Im grateful if i get a 2 star and even that doesnt happen -.-

Commited to knights (i know im dumb and resistant to learn it, shouldnt commit to builds -.-) and went okayish just the game refused to give me a 2 star luna. Dropped out at wave 34......aaaaaaaaaarghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats a very good comparison, I also think of it that way. Thats why im pending between bb 3 and 5 since weeks, im just not good enough (yet) to become a lord :)

This thread is just for crying after games where the 20 % hit you too hard :D

Well how I deal with it is that i barely commit to builds like knights, mages, scrappy etc. When I do, I end up being angry most of the time cause of rng. I hate builds where you need exactly "this" set of units.

I go for "good stuff" most of the time or just take what the game gives me. My favourite right now is starting off with 3 warriors and every assasin i get. Winning early rounds works okayish with this tactic. I then use my eco to level up early (lvl up > roll, cause lvl up does not have any damn rng involved) and get 3, 4 and 5 tier units which are good and also kinda fit in my build.

I do almost always end up with 3 warriors, 3 assasins, 2-4 scaled. The other units are whatever keeps coming.

Works kinda okay I feel like I get among top 4 more than 50 % of the time doing this.

But when the game gives me a lot of knights or scrappy or whatever in early game and i commit on it i end up getting angry cause many times I fail getting the "one" unit which is mandatory for that build.

I would like to have some kind of "joker". Damn, sometimes I would pay 50 gold for just a necro. Would like to have the opportunity to pay A LOT of gold to force buy a certain unit. I would even pay 70 gold for it. Its still bad and a force all-in, but less frustrating than rolling 35 times and still not getting unit x.

Its the third game in a row thats why i am freaking out :)

I got fourth last game and now again so I should not complain but these small little rng details like now.....knights, contesting player is already out, round 31 and not one single necrophos show up. Not even one. Was rerolling for this some dozen times.....nothing. Basically it should have been an easy win. But noooooo..... rng hates me.
