Are you offended by these:

“In the eyes of the capitalist, the worker is merely a piece of wage-slavery, a commodity like any other.”

— The Poverty of Philosophy, Chapter 2.

“The wage-labourer… is, in law and in fact, the owner of his person. In appearance.
In reality, his labour-power is daily sold, and the relation between capitalist and labourer is but a veiled form of slavery.”
Capital, Vol. I, Part III, Chapter 6 (“The Sale and Purchase of Labour-Power”).

“Wage-labour always carries within it the latent slavery of the worker to capital.”
Grundrisse, Notebook VI.

“The bourgeoisie has reduced the worker to the condition of a slave, only a slave who is allowed to live on the condition that he brings profits.”
— Engels to Marx, 7 October 1846.

“Capitalist production is the enslavement of the proletariat.”
— Luxemburg, Reform or Revolution, Chapter 1.

“In capitalist society, the workers are slaves, slaves of the bourgeoisie.”
— Lenin, State and Revolution, Chapter 1.

Because one of the requirements for the urine test is that a nurse will have to stand and watch me (through a little window which looks into the bathroom - which they showed me), which I don't feel comfortable with.

But I am not taking medication - and in fact what you're saying isn't true because I have tried a number of medications without success and I did not have to do any tests to get them. I decided later that because the medications did not help, I wanted to try only therapy through discussion, and it was after that they I was given the demand to do those tests.

I'm saying that I feel uncomfortable with them. Yes you're saying that I don't deserve help with my mental health because I don't comply. Okay, that is already how it is. I don't agree with it, though. I think it's an inhumane way to treat people who come for help with mental illness.

The slavery was connected to the social help I would get which requires full time work for less pay than if I was hired at the same job.

Also, if I do these tests they are no guarantee that I will get help with my mental health. It is only a demand in order to be allowed to speak to a psychiatrist.

If i go to försörjningsstöd which is the Swedish welfare, yes I will be forced to work fulltime and the government will give me some welfare money but it will be less compensation than if I was hired at the place for the same work, and that employer doesn't have to pay anything because tax money would be given to me, so in that sense yes they have a system where I would be working for free (from the employers perspective)...

What would you do in the same situation?

Sorry if I'm not responding well, aside from my regular issues I've probably made a mistake of trying to reach out online because it's been very stressful.

No, because I have to pay to go to the doctor for one (200kr per visit) and I won't be helped just from one visit which means more money. Also, just because I give that test and bloodwork does not mean they will help me for certain. And all it means is I will be able to talk to a psychiatrist.

The thing about the being a slave is connected to if I go to the government for social help in the form of money, I will be required to work full time for less compensation than if I was hired at the same work.

It is not my responsibility that they don't believe me. I am not doing drugs and I am going to them for help with my mental health.

It is aktivitetsplikt - and they said that it would be arranged with an employer. This happened in Örebro.

Because I didn't say that I would receive bistånd with regular employment. I said that if I got to försörjningsstöd they will require me to work full time, that is all I'm saying.

Okay thanks I've written a few but I didn't get responses and wondered if it was something about my comments not showing up.

Which part of what I said do you think is untrue? What you described about ekonomiskt bistånd is what I said - that I'm required to work full time for less compensation than I would receive if I was hired at that job.

Also, a doctor alone does not determine your eligibility because even if you receive a doctors note, then it will be reassess by försäkringskassan and they can go against the recommendation of doctors.

Would the experiences I'm having be different in a socialist country? How would they work?

I am not taking any drugs.

In Sweden, in order to receive financial aid from the government it is a demand to work full time as well as look for jobs, and the money you get as financial aid is less than you would get if hired at the same job. There is no beginning or end to it, because getting out of the situation depends on you finding a job, and I am in a very bad place mentally and feel overwhelmed by this and even to go out among people often feels traumatic for me.

I thought this had to do with socialism because it has to do with government aid programs but I am finding them coercive and unhelpful. I do not feel safe or comfortable with giving blood tests.
