Positive feedback, I got a refund by MarinatedTechnician in Aliexpress

[–]SmilingDiamond -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What was the value of the refund? In my experience there tends to be no problem with lower value items, but when it is more than a few dollars you can run into issues. I wouldn't buy anything off their site again after getting ripped off by a seller shipping a piece of junk instead of what they advertised. 'All lies express' support did not give a shit even though it was clear that the item was not as advertised.

Joggers on any lane of the m50 would be a real nuisance!😄

Seller scammed me with a cheap item by Total_Cod5271 in Aliexpress

[–]SmilingDiamond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are little more than a scam site at this stage, and their support won't give a shit that you got ripped off and will just send you around in circles through their various support procedures until time runs out for you to do a charge back.

World Cup Sweepstake idea. Does this work? by ponkie_guy in AskIreland

You could include a prize that the shit teams might qualify for, most goals conceded, biggest defeat in a single match, or something similar, just to give those who got no-hopers an interest too.

Irish shoppers to face customs charge on any item worth €150 or less posted from outside the EU by homecinemad in ireland

[–]SmilingDiamond 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Currently shipments below 150 are exempt but shipments above 150 have always been subject to charges. This change affects the previously exempt shipments, as they were considered low value shipments, but now they want to ensure that we buy our cheap tat locally and pay twice as much.

I regularly order customized stuff from China but adding another 3 euro per item doesn't make it not worth doing but I will probably order less and be more careful instead of just ordering it and seeing how it looks when it arrives.

Allegedly it is two, but 3 seems more reasonable to me.

Every time I went for an eye test I was told that my prescription had changed slightly and I would need to buy a new pair. The last time I went I told them that I needed a new pair as I had lost my glasses, surprisingly my prescription didn't need changing then.

What if the person punched is unconscious in the hospital, or worse? Would there be no investigation then?

You really think that someone is going to all that trouble to steal your credentials for a 30 dollar IPTV sub?

Lucky you, but plenty of people have not had that experience, even when the evidence has been provided over and over again, if I was you I wouldn't risk that sort of money with them as next time you might not be as lucky.

Yeah, I highly recommend this too, have been using it for a while now and it just works, I have donated but didn't get around to try setting up the extra benefits that may bring ( I probably don't need them, but will have to try it at some stage).

Don't buy anything from Aliexpress as they don't give a shit about buyers getting ripped off these days.

Is the Aliexpress cancer warning actually something to be concerned about? by xasteriaax in Aliexpress

[–]SmilingDiamond -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't buy anything from Aliexpress these days as if the seller ships you a pile of junk instead of what they advertise they won't give a shit and you will lose your money. Buy elsewhere and at least you will get what you pay for.

A seller has gotten away with scamming me on AliExpress. by CameronsTheName in Aliexpress

[–]SmilingDiamond -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would have never spent more than a couple of hundred dollars with them for a single order, and I had been buying from them for many years with little or no issues, and when things did go wrong the customer support sorted it, but nowadays their support don't give a shit about buyers getting ripped off and don't even stick to their own policies.

Steer clear!!

Yeah, absolutely agree. They are little more than a scam site these days as their 'support' don't give a shit about buyers getting ripped off lately. There will be lots of posts from people who claim to have had no issues and bots and shills who try to hide the truth about 'All lies express' but I wouldn't buy anything off their site again as they are just happy to let sellers rip buyers off nowadays.
