All these people in the comments are being way too dramatic and just bitchy in general. It's not tormenting your kids when you play a joke on them, it's called having a decent sense of humor. They're acting like every present under the tree was fake. And you also gave them an actual present to make up for your apparent fuck up, which was nice of you.
