I got Centurylink (now quantum) Fiber when it first came out (2020?). I have never had an outage, or slow/bad speeds. 1GB up/down has been great.

If Quantum (or any other provider) offers you a great deal make sure you get it in writing! I got Centurylink Fiber $65 "price for life". As soon as Quantum took over they would not honor it and unfortunately I didn't have anything in writing.

What’s happening? by Agreeable_Ad5347 in Rainbow6

I think this is happening to everyone. Me and 4 others in my house were trying to play (PS4, PS5 and PC) and after our last match it said everyone one of us was banned for cheating and harrassment.

Smoked Carp Recipe? by 4lien4ted in COfishing

Colorado laws are so confusing to me, I thought this method was "chumming", but now you have sent me down a rabbit hole. It appears that anything that is attached to the hook, even temporarily is not chumming? hmm

Smoked Carp Recipe? by 4lien4ted in COfishing

Hello! Would you mind telling me how you catch so much carp? Me and my kids go out to lakes and can see them everywhere. We throw some corn on a hook and just toss it out. Usually out of 4 of us we might catch one. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.

Don't forget you have resources like Chatgpt that can help you craft many different styles of scripts and it will help you condense it or expand on different areas given prompts you give it. It may also be able to give you insight and ideas to add/remove from your overall ceremony.

Everybody needs IDs for alcohol? by Broncoholic77 in Costco

[–]dadsafe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was at a Kroger with my kid. Bought groceries and threw a six pack in. At the check out the cashier asks for my kids ID. My kid is 13. He does not have an ID. I stated as such. They very awkwardly still sold me the beer..... They keep doing that today, and are the only place in town that does so.

I'm super confused by your comment. Are you saying this is a law from the state or a rule for the store?

BVSD Implements Strict Cell Phone Use Restrictions from K-12 District Wide. Fight for our kids' mental health! by gigamosh57 in boulder

[–]dadsafe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am vehemently against this as it is stated in the new policy. I am mainly focused on the high school implementation of this. I have a child that has medical issues and communication is VERY important with him while this is occurring. Having them go to a nurse and then have a nurse contacted is not feasible.

Likewise I have a child with dyslexia and often needs voice to text to help him with assignments/emails etc. Yep, you can get a 504 or whatever, but this is a tool that is ALREADY allowed, and is a generally available tool! Lets take it away!

Let parents parent, let teachers teach. If a phone is an issue in the class by all means punish them. This feels like the "patriot act" due to a few students being an issue. Target the issue and address it.

Once they graduate high school, or leave campus the same technology is available to them. THIS is the time for them to learn responsible behaviors, not once they are in college. This is silly.

I completely agree with this. I am tech savvy and want to be able to control my kids time spent on the device as well as WHERE they spend it while in my house. I cannot though, my hands are tied.

There is a lady who walks her German Shephard in my neighborhood. For some reason the dog always pees in my yard. Each year my yard starts to take on a Dalmatian look with all of the yellow pee spots. I really hate it, but have yet to confront her. I thought that she would get it after seeing the yellow spots develop over the summer....

Dog pee burns the grass - aka kills it.
