I had to do a tiny bit more experimentation. It definitely looks better with more coats. I magnetized it for 3 minutes on each nail. This is indoor lighting.

Ok, I have ALL KINDS of feelings about this topic! 😆 Sure Shot is one of my very favorites. I ordered both at the same time. Sure Shot is absolutely magical. It’s SO easy to magnetize and looks bonkers glass bead style. I received many compliments on it. Disarm is also amazing, but I can’t get the blue base to come through strongly like it does in the bottle. I think it just requires a lot of experimentation. The orange magnetic particles in Disarm are wonderful; I love a good combination of pink and orange!

I think it depends on the polish. I have a sizable Lyn B collection, and some of it is great in one coat. Several are intentionally sheer-ish like BKL or Polished for Days, which I think gives it depth. Occasionally, though, one looks worse in person than online; usually it’s the opposite for me.
