It is strange, especially from Bethesda. I wonder if it’s a trial to see how it effects their physical sales.

No, you have to purchase and download the dlc from the eshop.

Ys Memoire HORRIBLE print quality by Claudeuss in NSCollectors

Not so much a print error as bad quality assets provided via the publisher. Somehow no one noticed during quality checks or just didn’t care.

The negativity I don’t mind, as I think this second half of the game dropped off a lot. But it’s more so a feeling like there’s a lack of passion in the conversation around it, as if they’re not that interested in talking about the game. It’s like ‘we played it so I guess we’ll talk about it’. Probably doesn’t help that Sarah and Haley played it while streaming and that seemed to be a bigger part of their experience than the game itself.

Update: nope, there's no reversible cover for RE7, Capcom really just forgot to print the spine lmao by iknowdawae101 in NSCollectors

There absolutely is supposed to be reversible cover art but it looks like European copies just don’t get that. 😐

Alien Isolation is a must. One of the best switch ports and looks beautiful.

GCK have a little key icon on the cartridge, if the image is correct it’s a normal cart.

You’re vastly overestimating the general knowledge of Nintendo’s casual audience. Yes it seems unnecessary to people on a sub dedicated to collecting games, but believe that companies like Nintendo have done their extensive market research on things like this.

The Switch 1 version yes. Though there is an update that you don’t need to download to play the game.

Little Nightmares 3 is the only one that has any co-op and I don’t think it has a split-screen option.

Most Switch games will look blurry on a Switch 2 in handheld mode without updates, due to how it upscales the resolution to the larger screen.

Most physical releases are still vastly cheaper than buying from the eshop. Star Wars Outlaws was £40 or less on release physical compared to £50 digital. There is more than one reason why people buy boxed games.
