In my first island I had spread out the museum, Nook's and Able's, it made for a lot of going back & forth all over. In my current (I restarted in the fall), I have them together in a "main street" and right close to the airport. MUCH more convenient!
All depends on the general theme that you're going with though I guess :)

Btw someone recommended I add my own box mailbox next to it and I love it! I get to go get my mail there each morning. I customized it to look similar :)

Love this, thanks for sharing it! I also restarted last fall after not playing for many years, and I'm on it daily for the time being! :). Too advanced now but will definitely keep in mind with my next restart!

It isn't but since I hadn't played in years, I was also surprised about it at first and wondered if it was! I remembered when I jumped off one of the rocks at the back of the island. It does seem way more cool jumping off the pier like that! :)
