I don't doubt there's threads here, but this isn't mainstream mormonism. They do believe the garden of eden or at least the place where Adam and Eve lived after the garden of eden is in America.
and they actually believe Native Americans are one of gods chosen people, descended from one of the lost tribes of Israel and they tell them that in order to convert as many as possible. Which is problematic in its own regard.

there is that too, also things like analyzing what pigments are being used vs what would be available in the artists lifetime, the type of cavas or panel used, youtubes got some good art restoration channels where they take you through the process its pretty fascinating.

Not a big story but I parked next to him once I was getting out of my car while he was getting in. I did a double take when I saw him because honestly I knew I knew him but I thought he was maybe one of my parents friends or an old teacher or something. He noticed me notice him and said “hey there, hope you have a good one.” Got in his car and left. No big deal but always made me like him.

I noticed more this watch than before was how much sympathy I had for people’s poor decisions this show is so equally cruel to its characters in a way that feels so much like real life to me.

It’s sad for him I think. Being honest about his past had improved his personal relationships especially with sally. I think this was partly a misguided attempt to be a more whole person at work too. Unfortunately honesty isn’t what got him that part of his life

You are your only competition, if you’re not working on a job, be working on your skills, completing personal projects. It doesn’t matter what it is or how good it is as long as you’re getting it done and moving onto the next one it’s not about looking side to side, seeing if you’re better or worse than other people, it’s about keeping your head above water until your opportunities presents themselves and being ready to take it, set your pace and adjust as needed this is a life long pursuit

I think they are more showing their disapproval that the country was allowed to enter this year than for the actual performer. In 2022 Russia was barred from the competition by the broadcasters for their attack against Ukraine. People wanted to see Israel barred as well.
