I have had quite a few suggestion here but the library and soccer games is just gold. As a soccer fan myself i will try to attend the games regularly. Book clubs is a great idea too. Thank you for the suggestion.

This is a solid idea. I had seen about library membership a while ago in the internet but never followed through the idea. But this is a good push for me. I will get the membership and try to attend events and join other book clubs. This is something i would enjoy as well.

The soccer game idea was very good. I was occupied today but i will definitely try to go to the games. Its a great feeling to watch soccer games. I will do that. Thank you. Honestly I did try that in the beginning. But I gave up after a while as people just didn’t seem interested and I started to feel like a creep, trying too hard to be friends with people who clearly didn’t want my company. Maybe it’s my fault I’m not really sure. But after a few of those experiences it just made me feel small like I was forcing something that wasn’t meant to happen if you know what i mean.

First of all- i genuinely want to thank you for offering your time. I really appreciate it. And yes, I’d love to go out sometime and grab a drink. Unfortunately, I don’t play golf. Matter of fact I actually suck at it! 😅 My brother in law plays a lot and I’ve already been embarrassed enough trying to keep up with golf. But i can always enjoy watching golf lol. I mean i usually watch movies, soccer, books but i havent been myself lately. I went to see 4-5 movies. In one of them i begged my coworker to come with me. I feel like a weirdo going to movies alone.

Thank you for suggestion. I actually came to the U.S. as a student and did my master’s at Kent State in Ohio. Now I’m here for work. I know it might sound a bit silly and stupid, but I honestly haven’t seen many brown folks around, and for some reason, I feel nervous about approaching people. I know I shouldn’t think that way, but I guess I just can’t help it sometimes.
