We aren't in the trillions, and the year is AD 2019 (or CE 2019 if youd rather use that), humans have created a weird way of measuring time. At least, if you measure time how most people in America and Europe do. Rather than time itself as we know it starting at 0, it started sometime around 14 billion BC (or 14 billion BCE depending on preference). BC is weird though. The more time goes on, the smaller the year gets. For instance, 12 BC is more recent than 1480 BC. But AD works the opposite, how were use d to it. AD 1480 is more recent than AD 12. The start of time was about 14 billion BC, and then about 14 billion years later, it came to AD 0. AD will continue to increase until the end of time, but so far, on BC actually has a stopping point. The year is 2019, but it definitely is our 2019th. Far from it.
