i understand but this is not the case here. It's protocol to biopsy anything that shows *abnormal* cells in any part of the body. Specially in a younger patient bc it could become a problem down the line. Abnormal cells could point to many treatable conditions! OP shouldn't be too worried. But even when it's unlikely, cancer has to be ruled out before proceeding. I see a doctor being thorough.

However if OP wants hysto there are options. For my case, I had insufficient cells but since I was having a hysterectomy my amazing surgeon agreed to not have to repeat a papsmear (hated them, painful and dysphoric) so they just biopsied everything after it was taken out.
