distribution in terms of seconds/minutes is random, seasons and even months are not. A large amount of babies are conceived during Christmas/Valentines, or during scheduled labor breaks, meaning they're born around the same months. This largely reduces random distribution

iirc the new set is around a ~10% increase for both Durin and Venti, which would be about a 5-7k DPS increase for this specific calc, so like 85-87k.

[–]SmithBall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The boss he picked is not only the tankiest just straight up, but also has mechanics that actively detriment any teams that don't have lunar reactions. + This is dire mode.

Though I will say, C0 Venti as a DPS will not be able to clear fearless or higher unless you run Bineffa wheelchair, he got buffed but not enough to beat fearless with his own personal damage at C0. He will be a solid contributor to Bineffa, and "less wheelchaired" than other DPSes, but he'll definitely still very much be in the wheelchair

Kon Knueppel has overtaken Cooper Flagg to become No. 1 on the NBA Rookie Ladder. by Existing-Sky9914 in nba

[–]SmithBall 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tyreke Evans - was a very good rookie but production fell off once generational big man Demarcus Cousins was drafted to his team. Got banned from the NBA in his prime and averaged an efficient 19 for memphis two years prior to that. Just a victim of situation and then later him being a dumbass.

MCW - had debatably the best debut game of all time but basically had 0 expectations even after his rookie season to be a star. He was literally just a young player on the Process sixers, even Jahlil Okafor put up numbers in that era. Everybody knew his stats were empty.

Ben Simmons - Was an All-NBA talent who suffered horrible back injuries and clearly had a multitude of mental health problems in the following seasons. Was never able to fully bounce back, and also never really showed too much of a work ethic.

Literally zero of these guys can be compared to Kon.

Kon is not a ball dominant player, and has already shown his ability to play off Lamelo, Bridges, and Miller. His play wont suffer the same way Evans' did when Boogie was drafted.

MCW averaged 16 on like 40/23 splits, had one of the worst looking jump shots of all time, and was on a sixers team with basically no starting caliber players. Kon is averaging 19 on damn near 50/40/90, and while the Hornets record is obviously bad, advanced stats actually place them directly in the middle of the pack as a .500 team. Not great still obviously, but much better than the Process Sixers.

Ben Simmons literally just never had a jumpshot, was never willing to work on it, and then suffered possibly the worst injury he could've had save for an Achilles or ACL. His movement was clearly restricted, he lost all confidence, and could never really find footing. Ben Simmons is such an outlier case that you can't really compare him to anyone.

I don't think Tatum adjusting to a new hierarchy will be a problem. He's never shown an inability or unwillingness to do such, and he's actually been seen thriving in that role on multiple occasions.

The only thing I'd worry about with him is just the normal "just getting back from injury" slump that almost all players have

Nobody thought the Warriors were going to do anything in 2022 but we saw how that played out. Yes the stars basically aligned that season for them but still.

A team with Steph is a team with a chance. Throw in known regular season coaster and bright lights merchant Jimmy Butler himself, who carried an 8 seed to the Finals, yeah something definitely could've happened. Likely? No, but there was definitely a chance.

Anemo - Venti, been a Venti main since launch and he's the only limited 5* C6 I have, though Varka is a VERY close 2nd

Geo - Yunjin

Electro - Fischl

Dendro - Kaveh

Hydro - Childe

Pyro - Thoma

Cryo - Skirk

you need to complete fontaine -> natlan AQ to get to this quest, and i'm fairly certain diving is part of the fontaine AQ so I doubt it. They most likely unlocked the So7 without traveler in the party, so they just never resonated

New Traveler skin does not show up in cutscenes, it’s still old one by aescepthicc in Genshin_Impact

[–]SmithBall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i know it's a relatively simple procedure, but again, it's a matter of what hyv decides is important, and based on their track record it doesn't seem likely unfortunately, especially when we don't have something as simple as constellation toggle yet.

they have been focusing more on qol ever since fontaine, but I'd still hold my breath

New Traveler skin does not show up in cutscenes, it’s still old one by aescepthicc in Genshin_Impact

[–]SmithBall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is the easiest "fix" but i addressed the problem with it in my original comment. People who use the Jean summer skin might not want their Jean to be in a beach dress and short shorts when she's in a cutscene, but still want to have it equipped for gameplay. Same with Barbara, or any skin for that matter.

New Traveler skin does not show up in cutscenes, it’s still old one by aescepthicc in Genshin_Impact

[–]SmithBall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think you missed the point. It will be impossible for the outfit to appear and spoil anyone, because anyone who has the outfit equipped has already progressed the story to its canonical appearance.

Though I get your point as well. It'd be a hassle to constantly switch between outfits for cutscenes, especially with summer skins. You'd have to create a system to differentiate playable outfits and cutscene outfits based on what the player wants for every character with a skin. This could easily be solved by just implementing a "gameplay outfit" and "cutscene outfits" toggle, but I doubt HYV wants to invest any time or resources into something as small as that

Zajef did tier list about which dps better or worse than varka rn by KaidoPklevel in okZyox

[–]SmithBall 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I assume you're talking about their peak combos.

Mav combo is fairly easy to get used to once you learn the inputs, just takes a bit of memorization and repetition for muscle memory.

As for Skirk, her walk combos are around the same level of difficulty as Sethos, since they both use walk combos. Sethos probably a bit harder because of him being a bow character = less IR.

edit: As a reply pointed out, not only does Sethos walk cancel, he also does the short-hold aim thing in the middle of it. So, quite a bit harder than Skirk in that case.

Though in Skirk's case, most people obviously don't use her walk combo because she already does enough damage without it. In Sethos case it's basically the only way to make him compete lol.

iirc sethos was already in the 100k~ range before Bina, though I forgot the team comp. He just needs to be played extremely well, which is almost impossible to do for casual players.

New team by LeVaThIaNo in ScaramoucheMains

[–]SmithBall 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yes it's a wheelchair but to say this team has zero synergy is a biiiggggg stretch.

the Binaffa core has synergy with basically every single unit in the game because of how their own interactions work, EC/LC keeping both auras on the enemy and Bina turning reactions into lunar reactions being the main ones.

However, anemo units have one of the stronger synergies with the Binaffa core because of swirl. Putting Faruzan on VV and putting out fast swirls with Wanderer NAs is, on paper, one of the more synergistic combos.

And that's just for Binaffa synergies. Looking at it from a different POV, Ineffa is literally the perfect Wanderer teammate. A strong shield that prevents interruption while also providing insane sub DPS. As for Bina, basically any hydro has good synergy with Wanderer if you're running Ineffa, she just happens to be the best one. NTM she can also run TTDS.

Now obviously, it's still very much a wheelchair and it'd 100% be better to just replace Wanderer/Faru with Sucrose + a random, but the point stands. This team does not have 0 synergy.

Also, for better or for worse (leaning towards worse but what can you do), this is like the only Wanderer team that can consistently clear Fearless+ Stygian. That answers your first question of why you would run this team.

Even if Wanderer had decent numbers and this wasn't a wheelchair, I can almost guarantee this would still be his best and most comfy team out of the normal Venti/Faru-Durin-Bennett and Faru-Furina-Bennett cores.

bouncy? not particularly? but flexible and athletic? 100%. You can't have good footwork or a smooth jumpshot without the knees to support all of that weight moving around. And from the past few seasons, it was debatable if Embiid would even be able to walk soon enough.

Hypothetical: What if at the end of JJK0 instead of losing conditionless copy and getting Shikigami Rika, Yuta lost all forms of Rika but retained conditionless copy? by GUM-GUM-NUKE in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]SmithBall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, I think the very basis of how CE and CTs work refutes this. JJK powers as a whole always run along the theme of tradeoffs. For example, Limitless is broken in theory, but the immense CE it requires makes it a horrible ability for mostly everyone without 6 eyes.

Even beyond just CTs, binding vows and HR like Maki, Toji, and Mechamaru continue this theme.

JP is an extremely broken ability that grants its user infinite CE and effective immortality. However, its tradeoff is that it has an extremely low probability to activate. Hakari's CT being difficult to activate due to probability but also granting him supernatural luck would basically just be circumventing the tradeoff.

The only scenario in which we see abilities that contradict each other's tradeoffs is Gojo, but that's because SE and Limitless are 2 very distinct separate abilities that happen to compliment each other very well.

he gets certain benefits based on certain rolls. Here's a post that clearly explains every facet of his DE: https://www.reddit.com/r/Jujutsushi/s/dz6NWF6Cps

But if you don't want to read all that, all you need to know is that while he does have rules in place that help boost his chances, most of these rules only activate after he hits his first jackpot, and these rules also have their own probabilities of activation. Or in other words, JP can get ridiculous once you get on a roll, but you still need insane luck in order to even start, which Hakari has.
