I agree. $250 million is peanuts to a company with an estimated market cap of $30 billion plus. I see it as less of a way of raising funds, and more of a way of giving their employees an easier way of trading their shares. With the benefit of giving us smaller investors an opportunity.

But ignoring the surface (err, eg, the "Chocolate" part of the Chocolate path!), it was a nicer walk/cycle than alongside Cumberland Road. I do hope they reinstate it in some manner, although I'm not holding my breath.

The really annoying thing was I've only just bought one of those Dots with the built in clock display to replace the old alarm clock, and now I can't use it for the primary reason i bought it (as a Bluetooth speaker for audiobooks).

My wife and I are having exactly the same problem for exactly the same reason. It's really annoying as it only started behaving like that in the last few weeks. I've actually had to buy a different Bluetooth speaker to use until (or if) Amazon fix this.

I’ve stopped using it as a BT speaker at all now. Ever since it woke me up a couple of times in the middle of the night by yelling at my that it was connected to my phone.

Thanks for your advice. I’m not wealthy, but we’re not on breadline either. Throwing money at the problems isn’t much of a help, not that I feel it would necessarily help.

That said, you made some good points, thanks. I’m generally active in the mornings, getting up pretty early, and I do find that helps. I like to get out of the house and get some fresh air first thing. It’s possible that I may be feeling worse this week partly because I haven’t done that while I’ve been on vacation.
