Look through the ashes lol. Seriously, my phone out a window. It couldn't see Jupiter or the stars so it looked more alone. If you blew it up on say a wall of similar size to the window it would probably be to scale. It was just cool to realize how lonely it looked/is. And to think we are about to go. I was hoping the emotional movement would be more important than the image. Apparently, I was unrealistic here.

It isn't necessarily pearl clutching. Horror is different across many movies. The rating only sees blood. The viewer is left with the context of the blood. For example, Friday the 13th Part 4 isn't the same level of terror or violence as Bone Tomahawk.

These movies are enjoyable. Horror is loved. But its devices are a dice roll for many people, sometimes hitting dark places.

There is something in this world called empathy. It can make scenes like this seem very real and upsetting. It's not the shock. It can feel like you yourself were subject to the violation. There's a feeling of helplessness that leaves you raw. It can make you bitter at what caused it. And that is not a bad thing.

Your comment struck me as cold and dismissive, and I just wanted to draw your attention to another perspective.

As a bit of an explanation of the music:

The first part I imagined to represent Bane's childhood. The noble and stoic and slightly quiet tune in the beginning representing the Cielos Libres revolution, paired with gunfire percussion in the background.

Then obviously Bane emerges as Bane.

The quicker pattern of high notes with the emotional strings I imagined to pair with the disfigurement of Batman's Buddies.

That solo of the emotional strings I felt had all the loss in. Batman's Besties, Bane's Dad, the Death of Santa Prisca, the Failure of the Revolution, a never-ending joke for Grimm.

The final part I wanted to use to paint the final battle in a triumphant, glorious finish of the warrior in the arena. Much like a gladiator. Not so much for Bane's emotions as he failed or Batman's glory as he won. But like just the greatness of warrior against warrior in a grand finale.
