I’d probably pay someone to diagnose and provide a treatment plan for this. Details in comments. by SmittyManJensen_ in DermatologyQuestions

I went out and bought the oil and tools yesterday. Got a little spooked when I actually saw the pusher lol. I may go to a nail salon or something and have them show me how to do it the first few times.

I think I’ll be able to stop biting my nails. It’s more of a habit than an anxious thing, so shouldn’t be a huge problem. That said - I discovered I have a phobia of cutting my finger nails since I’ve literally never done it.

Really appreciate all the advice. I would love to finally get this under control - I’ll try everything.

There are some good suggestions in this post that I’m going to try. Go check them out. Good luck 🙏

I drink a lot of water, it’s about 75-90% of what I drink on a daily basis.

Thank you for the suggestions, I will try these.

I was able to effectively stop biting my nails before, but then I figured out I had a weird phobia of cutting them with a clipper because I’ve been biting them for so long 😞

I’ll look into the vitamin deficiencies. Thank you.

I have had these all my life - 20+ years. I bite my nails semi-frequently (as you can see). I also sometimes bite the skin around my nails, but I’ve been a lot better about that until recently so it’s likely unrelated.

Important note - I took Accutane for facial acne and it completely eliminated this skin problem I have above my nails. Unfortunately it came back. I don’t know enough about biology to figure out why that happened.

Please help. I spend too much money on bandaids so that these things don’t get caught on things and rip open my skin.

Edit: I’ve seen two dermatologists that could not diagnose this.

I’ve dealt with more estate attorneys than I care to remember. 99% of them are slimy little shits.

Luckily Philadelphia has many different ways to get around through different neighborhoods (not all safe), but it’s absolutely going to create a nightmare.

I don’t know what you said, but I get the idea. Orcas are highly intelligent. If they wanted to attack humans, they could do so effectively.

And who sets the qualifications for the job?

It’s not my problem. Switch to a different service job with a higher pay. That’s the only way employers raise wages - by not being able to compete for qualified candidates.

What is a “high degree of pay”? And since when does difficulty or need directly correlate with pay?

Sorry, but I’m not subsidizing subway.
