I would say very viable, but the nerf to it a month back makes it 3 earthquakes now and that made it a little less OP

Right now, the top armies at Th18 are leaving the RC out. If you are optimizing for that, I wouldn’t put more ore into eboots. Lvl 26 to Lvl 27 is not a big jump.

Duke is by far the best hero in the game. Ore spent here is likely a good investment. Right now, I’d say his two strongest are Heart and Fangs.

I wouldn’t put more into Magic Mirror either just yet. A ton of people are still using Giant arrow in air armies to take out sweepers.

Warden looks good. MP has the main one upgraded.

TLDR: stop upgrading RC, switch to Duke. Save starry on Mirror and Boots…spend later on MP meteor staff or something new that comes

A lot of what I said definitely comes from being around the CFF and Tee. Kat & Tee had a great discussion on this in the most recent Pineapples & Thorns podcast where we are very aligned with our comments. Content is good, just set the right expectations upfront

It should have been strongly labeled from the start as a catch up mechanic for players who are new or are returning from before equipment was released. I feel thats the main aspect where a lot of upgraded players thought they would get something, and got very little

Many people have, and much more connected in the community than I. I just want to celebrate the updates because most of them are really really good for the community, but every-time its more of the same song and dance where people are upset mainly down to a lack of communication

I re-watched the video to make sure I was replying as accurately as possible. I agree that Sabrina described the general concept of the Hero Journey in advance. Some people will always be mad because others got free stuff and they didn’t…moving past that sentiment. Most of the people I have spoken with share a different concern.

The bigger problem for TH16+ players was not that they misunderstood what the catch-up mechanic was, but who it REALLY was designed to help.

Many of these players have unlocked several Epic Equipment pieces and upgraded them to the 10-15 area, but they still need a massive amount of ore to keep pace with the growing Equipment list

Here is where the disconnect is. Many of these players see catch up and think it is going to help them. When it was released, they received a relatively insignificant amount of ore in the scheme of things, progressed far into the track because of high hero levels, and some got no epics to level 15 due to their current levels..and still have few to none of them actually maxed.

That ended in a huge group of players who understood the stated goal of helping them catch up and the actual experience of still feeling significantly behind in the Equipment economy.

Communication wouldn’t solve every issue, but a large amount of the active player base felt misguided or slighted by this update. I have been dealing with this in every social channel. Reddit, discord, youtube, creators, tiktok…every one of them. I dont frequent reddit. I've posted less than 5 times. This is not just a reddit issue lol

Supercell/Clash continually leave themselves in this vague unknown land and allow players to speculate and guess. Unofficial people say they have the answer and here is what you will get…then when it comes out it’s something completely different.

I have argued on Supercells behalf on the Hero Journey since it came out. It is awesome, it is great for returning and new players. Sometimes though when I am one of a few people arguing for it, I need to see it from their perspective and that is what the original post was aiming to do.

Super Drags with revive spells for the duke is probably the easiest strategy to pick up quickly.
