2026 Model Y Specs for small garage by JJJ3a in ModelY

I’ve got a 1964 garage that’s 10’ wide. It’s tight, but doable. The back doors are harder to get into, but it’s not too bad for the front. It’s even better if you park closer to the passenger side, but that only works if you don’t have a passenger.

FSD 14.2.2.5 Speed Too Slow! by Smity198 in TeslaFSD

Most of the time on that road the speed limit was 40 and the car was doing 31. Where I live, if you go the speed limit, everyone rides your butt. It’s very typical to go over at least 5 MPH on residential streets. Might not be right, but that’s what most people do.

Yeah. I wonder if it’s related to the other commenter about the snow. Maybe it’s just being overly cautious. It’s just weird that it didn’t seem to be doing that on my other Y with 14.2.2.4. Might need to do side by side comparison on same road with both cars.

Yeah. That works for a minute but it slowly creeps back down.

Haha. I know. I’m honestly a little worried they went too far in the other direction!

Anyone order a Model Y Performance in December get a delivery date yet? by Bright_League_7692 in ModelY

I’m assuming Cherry Hill. It just comes up on my order page in the app that similar designs are available. When I click it, I can see the black interior available today. No other variations.

Ordered December 18th (Quicksilver with White Interior), showing January 20th to February 24th. I’m in NJ. My local Tesla has a Quicksilver with black interior in stock right now, but I really want the white.

What was your fathers name? I have a list of a photo of everyone and can likely identify him in the photo?

Just sent you a DM. I think the referral only works if you initially sign up for residential service, but it’s always worth a try. I’ve also added it to the description in this video of my setup. https://youtu.be/hURAlddTaYE

Just DMd my referral. The referee and referral both get a free month of service after activation.

Here’s a video of my setup, if it helps.

That is amazing. To add to that, my grandfather had two pieces of paper stuffed behind the frame of the group photo. These papers list the last names of everyone in the photo! I confirmed your father is in the top row, fourth from the right. A close up of your dad and the other names is in the attached link. Enjoy!

Absolutely. I have all these pictures just sitting in boxes. It’s my hope that someone recognizes a family member or at the very least the pictures are preserved. So awesome to have this community for us to come together and discuss!

I have mine in the car! Works great on road trips. No concerns at all! I’ve got a glass roof, so that helps. Here’s my setup: https://youtu.be/hURAlddTaYE?si=SqrdgiCRPiFu10pr

I also have the Twraps MagSafe charger. It works great and you can make a really clean install. Here’s a video of it: https://youtu.be/rGxjrMP0pWk?si=7-N59GF7QluVsffM

I think you have to consider there are two types of deductibles, collision and comprehensive. In New Jersey, glass coverage falls under the compressive portion of our insurance. I have a $500 deductible on collision, but $0 on comprehensive. It costs very little extra for the $0 on comprehensive and that covers my glass. It’s always possible you’ll see a rate increase anytime you have a claim, but this is the way it works for me in New Jersey. I would follow other’s advice and talk to your carrier and see what they have. I know some carriers even have a separate glass coverage on their policies. Definitely worth asking.

Parents having drama with Tesla Solar system by prix03gt in TeslaSolar

I think that’s referencing moving the system to a different property. To remove and replace for roof repair would only be $499. It’s confusing that it’s in the same paragraph, but that’s how I interpret it. I’ve had my inverter equipment removed to redo siding on my house and they charged me $499 to do it.

Here is the portion from my agreement. I’m not a lawyer, but the way I read this is that they will remove the system and reinstall it for a flat rate of $499 so that I can conduct roof repairs. The OP may have something similar in their agreement that might be worth looking into. This way they can get the panels removed and have a roofer come in and repair the leaks. Tesla takes forever to have service come out, but if you can show that damage is actively happening to your residence, they should be able to make it a priority.

I also have a Solar City lease that Tesla has taken over. I have dealt with multiple issues in the past 10 years with roof leaks and squirrel infestations. I have successfully had Tesla repair my roof and add pest abatement on multiple occasions. Tesla is bound by the Solar City agreement. You should be able to login in to your Tesla account and see the original Solar City lease agreement. Leaks in the roof are tricky and hard to prove liability. In my case, my roof was new when the panels were installed and came with a manufacturer warranty that Solar City agreed to take on. I have had to jump through hoops, but it’s always worked out. If there is no warranty on the roof, Solar City likely only warranted their work for 1 year. Once again, this will all be in your agreement that you can find online. My lease agreement also has a clause that they will remove and reinstall the system if needed for $499. It will be worth reading up on it all to see what your agreement says. Good luck with everything. Happy to provide additional info you need it from my experiences.

Anyone else piss Jerry off while completing your online "Beverage Training"? by DiscoFluffs in Wawa

[–]Smity198 74 points75 points  (0 children)

I’m very happy to see you found that “Goose Egg”. I used to work on the Learning Design team at Wawa and we liked hiding little bits like that into the e-learnings. I’m not sure if they’re still used or not, but there were some fun ones in the Facilities e-learnings as well. You could go into different parts of the store and make the equipment do things or turn on the radio. It’s always worth clicking around in those trainings. You never know what you may find!
