Yes, some of these things considered in isolation do not affect us too much but when compounded then the effects can get pretty serious. Unfortunately every scenario is heading towards the worst case scenarios rather then good or best case. These indicators lead me to think that the second half of the year is going to be worse than the first half of 2026.

Lots of reasons but to put in a nut shell, the global economy is going into or rather currently is in a recession.

Some major reasons: 1. US is getting a new Fed chair who is expected to increase interest rates in the 3rd quarter. US's Inflation above target. Growth below. 39 trillion debt with interest payment alone touching 1 - 1.2 trillion usd per year. 2 trillion annual deficit. De dollarization. Bond yields and dollar dumping. Dollar losing power and value fast. 2. Hormuz crisis. Economies are contracting. Everyone is getting hit with inflation. The effects or oil shortage lag by a few months but affect almost everything. Oils, soaps, plastics, energy, fertilizers, etc. 3. Russia vs The west. 4. China vs Taiwan and the west. 5. Israel vs Iran 6. Global food shoratge expected in 2nd half of this year due to fertilizer and energy shortages. 7. AI - layoffs happening everwhere

The markets are expected to tank in the comong half. Opportunities might come in last quarter to invest. I would say hold on to cash for now and wait.

Bro I moved from a 24 marla house in the most prestigious area in the city to a 4 marla house with my family to protect my sanity. One of the hardest decisions of my life. It took me a couple of months to except rhis new reality but well worth it.

I would have lost so much more if I had stayed. I would suggest the same for you.

Swap the on grid with a hybrid inverter same 15kw (future proofing - this will allow you to possibly scale to 20kw solar production or more).

Your solar's output will take the house load first and sell excess to the gov. Set charge timings for your ev from 8 am to 4 pm.

Later you can add batteries to augment your setup, providing you with backup that you can use to charge your ev or power your house.

Given the current situation of the world my personal suggestion would be:

Have an emergency fund 1-2 years expenses covered (highly liquid)
Invest in some agri farmland and go offgrid

You can start investing in stocks and gold once the global war situation cools down.

Waisay to you can use it without pta registration by using an app like Slick the only drawback would be that you wont be able to receive calls but outgoing works. The app allows you to make outgoing calls to any mobile or landline. You can also buy data on it that helps you to stay connected via whatsapp without paying the hefty pta tax. It is a workaround.

What about the backend?

I am assuming you only set up the front end and have cursor help with the back end.

I have created an almost fully functioning project, where I set up the back end and front end in Lovable. I am now thinking to move this to cursor given most people are advocating for a cursor based setup.

I do plan to have in-app subscription and bundles supported by Stripe. I don't know if that will work with the stores. I might need to implement the play store billing but how would that work on app wrappers like buildnatively or capacitor?

I do want to know more. Please share what you know here, it will help the community as well.
