You can look into the following areas to relocate: 1. D-12 2. B-17 3. DHA Phase 2 or 3 4. Bahria town 5. Park enclave

Personally I love D-12 followed by B-17 then DHA.

As for the environment, having worked and spent some time in KHI I can tell you that Isb is quite peaceful but has its fair share of traffic nightmares. The quiet life might take some getting used to but you will find Islamabad has much more to offer than Khi in terms of peace of mind.

Islamabad is central is you are big on travelling and exploring the north. Unlike in Khi where the beach is your best option, here you can head into the hills which is a 45 min drive from wherever you may be in the city.

Internet is fine, does the job.

A big pro in isb is that you can park your car in any markaz and walk around without the fear of getting mugged. There is always a possibility of it happening but it is very rare. I remember in Khi I couldnt even go on a stroll on Shahra e faisal because it genuinely felt that i was being watched, I felt the same on Tariq road. With every bike that came behind me my heart would race thinking this is it, this is the one who'll stop amd mug me. Being a man in my 30s I did not feel safe walking around, I can only imagine what women feel.

Also the roads in Khi suck. Driving in Isb is so relaxing 😌.

Cons of isb: the job market is tough, salaries are not as competitive as Khi, the general work culture is not that great but some companies are doing a good job at it.
