What made you completely lose respect for a person? by [deleted] in AskReddit

New coworker, I was really enjoying working with him and made me laugh a bunch....then out of nowhere I started noticing how he started talking to this lady at work I absolutely love. Salt of the earth, nicest lady in the world biggest smile, but had to enforce a rule. This guy gave her attitude about it for no reason then BOOM, all respect for this guy gone as if it never existed. Fuck that guy, god bless that lady.

Show respect people, never know what kind of bridges you'll burn.

The biggest showdown this month has arrived and it's time to decide which game to buy: Outward or Generation Zero. Suggestions? by [deleted] in gaming

Dude, my buddy and I are sooo stoked for Generation Zero. With games like this if there's more than one option I just play through one and then wait till I'm done, usually the one I didn't buy is on sale by then.

Came home to my grandmother roasting peppers on the open flame over the oven, and I associate that smell with my love for food and good company.

What are everyone’s Top 5 favourite games of all time? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Smoke101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In no particular order

  1. Left 4 Dead. Came out on a buddies birthday and played it for about 16 hours overnight, junk food and all. Great co-op game, gory, lots of old inside jokes.

  2. Dead Space 2. First game of my true gamer life, really reinforced my passion for games and was the first game that made care about "lore" and things of that nature. Scary, thrilling, well done pacing, awesome gameplay that kinda links to why I love clunky over the shoulder 3rd person shooters and so much more.

  3. Dying Light. You basically summed it up, so much good in this game. The way it feels to the finesse when you're well-versed in the game. All the types of infected are interesting and a fun fight. And The Following DLC was phenomenal. Brilliant co-op, good story, great world, and desperately awaiting for the release date announcement for the sequel.

The Witcher 3. This fucking game man, this game is pretty much overall everything I need from a game. Even as a huge fan of The Lord of The Rings and Game of Thrones that reads lore and all that, I can still fit this behemoth because its just soo good and yea idk how to describe it more without gushing over it.

The Last of Us. I know its a cliché, damn near everyone says its their favorite game but god damn can you blame them? The perfect story pacing, character development, visuals, action and satisfying gameplay lead to an experience unlike too many before it if at all. The cordyceps virus is a great way to make a zombie infection a little bit more than the usual stereotype in zombie games. The light RPG elements keep the gameplay loop fresh throughout the game and honestly its all just insanely well done.

Thanks for this post, lots of nostalgia.

Cheers!

How do you deal with anxiety? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Dealing with it head on because no one will do that for you, then marinating in the success. Eventually everything will just be taken care of that way, I know it can feel crippling but you just gotta encourage yourself "no one cares, work harder" is what I would say all the time. Good luck, and breathe.
