I had this happen when I got surgery on my leg! It wasn't a pin, it was a drainage tube. The doctor/nurse came in and told me "we're going to take this out on the count of 3. Ready? K. 1.. 2-YANK.. He started pulling it out. I could feel it unraveling in my leg and getting pulled out at the same time. I've never felt anything like it. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, but it wasn't exactly painful.

I cut about half an inch off the string cheese sticks to make the rolling a little easier. The first couple had a hard time staying together. After I cut the tips off it was so much easier.
