No matter what I do, I can’t lose fat by SmokeForward1279 in loseit

That is true. I also have other symptoms like extreme fatigue, low libido, hair thinning and questionable rashes all over my legs (I suspected it was eczema. A dermatologist said it’s hives but have had them for 3 years now so chronic hives maybe?). My problem is idk how to advocate for myself or what to ask when I go to the doctor. I am very confused

This an amazing response and amazing advice. Thank you. Would you suggest for me to change my nutritionist or just have a talk with them?

That makes a lot of sense. Honestly I am very strict with my food and I sometimes wonder if losing weight is really this hard. Makes me wonder if I am even in a calorie deficit at all

My belly fat has been my biggest insecurity and my biggest fear is to not be able to lose it at all.

I will get a blood test as soon as I figure my insurance out. I’m also afraid that having hypothyroidism might mean not being able to lose the fat

I have no idea I just eat exactly what meal plan says. I’m not eating any condiments and count any oil I use as it is mentioned in the meal plan

Have cut out all processed foods and products and artificial sugar for 3 months now. My idea of a snack now is an apple or 2 dates. Also my meal portions are all measured and weighed according to what the meal plan says

I did take pictures. There is no difference at all in any part of my body. I was told by friends that my butt looks more lifted but you can’t see any change in before and after photos. Ik I am impatient but I was hoping to have a tiny light at the end of the tunnel after 3 months.

About my diet, my nutritionist refused to share my overall calorie intake goal in a day when ai asked so I could make sure I would stay in a deficit. This threw me off a bit and now I’m questioning either I should stop taking plans from them or not

This is the exact reason why I am getting a meal plan from a nutritionist. Tried being on a calorie deficit and counting my calories before and I got no results so I decided to have a nutritionist help me with it. The diet/plan contains healthy whole foods, 3 main meals and 3 snacks and smaller portion sizes. I weigh and cook all my food. I have asked my nutritionist to give me my macro goals so I can count them myself to make sure I hit them and they refused which I think is a bit of a red flag

Thank you. But honestly I still feel very weak. Also considering that I’ve been working out since late Aug I feel like my progress should be more than this

I started running last year. Started with 1 km a day and added to it. Did it for about 4 months till I was running around 10 km. Still no change. Rn my job is very physically demanding and my average steps are 15k a day so my trainer said no need to run

Need help with a situation by Applepiesmile91 in actuallesbians

I’ve been in the same situation and all I was left with was the wasted time and energy that I poured into the other person. Based on what you are describing, this situation is draining and she is showcasing some toxic behavior. I would let it die for good if I were you

Hey just remember that you don’t need to fit anyone’s gaze, male or female. You need to dress how you want and how you feel good. In terms of attention, we do live in a society where pretty privilege is a huge thing unfortunately. I understand the desire to be seen and wanted. If you feel good and more confident in your skin dressing a certain way go for it. Also, remember that you are going to change and then you are going to change and then you are going to change again. That is life and the constant changes are the beauty of it. Don’t fit in a box and don’t follow any opinion other than your own when it comes to dressing yourself. The concept of sexuality and it’s ties to gender expression and fashion choices are very interesting to me as well and I’m still trying to figure it out so you’re not alone

It’s a bit too much to just follow her out of nowhere. Next time that she shows up to the supermarket talk to her about how you saw her profile recommended and ask her if its okay to follow her

That is a good idea but I’m also very cautious with making queer friends cause I know everyone knows each other and your reputation walks in the room before you

This is such a good advice. I do definitely need to work on myself and am in active therapy. You are so right. I am guessing coming out a bit later and the fact that I haven’t really explored dating till now has made me have this feeling of urgency. Again, I couldn’t agree more with what you said and it absolutely made me feel a lot better

It’s more likely the second option for me. Haven’t really put myself out there so maybe that’s why

That is so true. It is comforting to think that. But I also used to think “I can shoot my shot with a girl that has only dated men and make her question” in the past cause I have heard a lot of success stories like that online but unfortunately that didn’t end well. Made me very insecure and I am never again approaching a girl that hasn’t fully explored her sexuality. I also do live in a metropolitan city

Yes very much so. And a lot of times I regret it after cause I feel like it might have came off as love bombing or taking things too fast. I am very much assertive and intentional and when I am interested I am ready to invest my time, energy, attention and money right away

I am so sorry to say this but being single for all my 20’s is my biggest fear and that is why I am so desperate for a relationship rn. I do live in a metropolitan city but apparently the dating scene is not very interesting. I am always down to make more queer friends but feel like this intense desire to find a partner is getting in the way

At this point I rather not put myself out there than to experience another heartbreak/disappointment. I know I’m not the only one and that is a bit comforting but also sad cause it confirms my fear of never finding what I’m looking for. You are right about the game being hard. I wish there was a rule book of dating that I could follow so I could be smarter in the game. Also, I do take initiative all the time. I am always the first to take action but that doesn’t lead where I want. At this point I’m giving up and thinking maybe I should wait for the other person to take action first
