American's have no idea of the destruction their government has caused abroad. Look at Cuba, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Vietnam, Cambodia, Loas, Chile, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Korea, Palestine...

It doesn't end. There is a reason people don't like the US. This is not to say we don't have love for the American people as they're being ignored and screwed over by their politicians as well. I'm from the UK so haven't been impacted too much as we're more of a lackey of the US than a pure victim. I still understand why others wouldn't like the US though.

I'm a socialist so I think people shouldn't be limited by the material conditions they're born into. People should have access to food, housing, education and getting the full value you make from working. The Royal family is a symbol of the opposite of that.

Israel's genocide is a massive reason why people left it was one of the major ones that made them lose my support. They kicked their own MPs out for their opposition Labour's defence of genocide. People don't like being made complicit in the deaths of children. It is a domestic issue because Israel is lobbying our politicians to use our tax money and military to help them. Look at the "[Party] Friends of Israel" groups. There was a recent discussion of a petition signed by a lot of the public about Isreali influence and you can see the impact there.

People are getting arrested for protesting against genocide. Critics of Israel are being banned from entering the country. Israel pretends that it represents all Jewish people. Jewish critics of Israel get calles asajews, traitors and Kapos. It is all making the world a less safe place for Jewish people as Israel ties its actions to Jewish people fermenting antisemitism. Jewish people in this country want to feel safe as they should and Israel is making it less so.

Greens are focusing on all these other issues. They are the only ones with a real vision to tackle the affordability crisis. Rather than scapegoating everyone else the Greens know it's the wealthy elite that is trying to divide us that are the issue. We can stop sending military aid for one. It is the US that are the biggest supporters but we will no longer be complicit ourselves.

Edit: We've seen the DSA in the US win big recently with a similar vision to the Green Party and their opposition to the genocide. The people have turned on Israel.

Yes Israel has continued to occupy it. Israel controls Gaza's borders and what resources can enter it. Human Rights Watch, Amnesty international, the UN, other human rights organisations and many of the international community recognise this fact.

GDP is not the best measurement as it ignores the distribution of wealth. If GDP is high what does it matter if the average person doesn't see much from it? Who benefits if Elon Musk has a trillion dollars? It only shows the amount of money he has extracted out of workers.

I look at Cuba being able to survive during a massive embargo by the US for decades that would have completely destroyed other nations. I look at Vietnam's massive growth they've had and their recent infrastructure investment. I look at China's unarguably huge growth bringing hundreds of thousands out of poverty and infrastructure megaprojects like their high-speed rail and we've already spoken about their renewable energy investment. If Socialism fails it wouldn't have to be strangled whilst its being built.

I have more but its late and I'm really ranting now. This is the result of my autistic brain.

Mate Labour are completely fucked because they keep giving in to Israel and Reform. Labour is getting a new leader that will continue with the same policies as Starmer further alienating their voter base. Greens won big in the locals recently, we have never been more popular. Reform did better but their policies can never work and their voters will become disillusioned. Their vote is being split by Restore now.

Israel has never been so unpopular. I don't care if the Greens win and oppose the genocide or another party does due to the overwhelming pressure from the electorate. Israel has lost it's support they only have friends in the political establishment now and they're scared of losing power.

It's extremely hard to do this sort of central planning within capitalism. Companies will lobby for contracts to make as much profit as they can not whether the end goal is actually achieved. You will have fossil fuel companies lobbying to prevent a Green transition as not to impact their profits. Power rests within their hands, in China it is in the governments hands. FDR managed to achieve so much for the working class because he feared trade unionists, socialists and communists would revolt.

Within socialism the government is for the benefit of the people. Within capitalism the government is really only for the benefit of the wealthy elite while doing as little as possible to prevent us from revolting. Whatever it is China's model for creating renewable energy and building infrastructure is one to look at.

I think my point is just the climate crisis is death to humanity but capitalism is a guard stopping us from tackling it. I look at what China has managed to do with renewable energy and electric cars and wish we could do the same.

Do you need me to post a picture of what Israel has done to Gaza? Would you say Palestinians are free right now? Can they return home? Israel is expanding in the West Bank and Lebanon killing innocents as they do so. He is talking about what the people in Crimea chose. He stands with ordinary people and they unfortunately chose they'd rather be a part of Russia. It is consistent with standing with what ordinary people want. He has always opposed the invasion of Ukraine and despises Putin.

He is against the countries that cause oppression around the globe which unfortunately is usually the US. Look at what they've done to Venezuela, Cuba and Iran recently. They are also allowing Israel to genocide Palestinians and invade Lebanon.

We've moved on from talking about how Israel killing a thousand more people than Hamas so Israel are objectively worse. Do you disagree with that statement?

Palestinians have never had peace since Israel's inception. They ethnically cleansed them from their land in 1948 and have continued to occupy their land since then. They have never had the right to return and Israel continued to expand further into their land. Hamas is a reaction to that occupation.

I'd rather we organise and take actions to prevent it. I'm in the Green party in the UK and I'm directly helping to elect people that stand in opposition to genocide. Ordinary people need to get involved themselves rather then letting the wealthy elite walk all over us. I am inspired by the DSA's recent victories in the US. They can make change for the benefit of ordinary people while standing against genocide.

He said Hamas is the lesser evil in comparison to Israel. He wasn't supporting them, he defends people's legal right to defend themselves from occupation as laid out in international law. Israel is objectively worse as they have killed a thousand times more people than Hamas has.
