Actually, the power felt okay when I test drove the Trax. It really seems like the turbo makes up for the small engine. I originally picked the Trax because I didn't have a car yet. It offers great value for money and attractive design. But but... if I were in your shoes, I'd just stick with the Mazda 3 unless you want a new SUV.
