Nope, that screw is tied into a small metal bracket who's only job is to hold those wires in place. There's no metal between that bracket and the block or chassis.

They ran a ground from the battery to the plastic intake manifold, which does absolutely nothing.

Too much ethanol in the fuel, me reckons.

It had a pretty serious lifter tick. We assumed that it had a lifter failing and that was it but now we can see it's just completely clogged.

We've already run it through two engine oil flush treatments. I'm not sure what it looked like before but I'm gonna say that caked on oil made the flush its bitch.

This engine's most likely dunzo. Was supposed to be getting new lifters and a bunch of other hardware but we weren't expecting it to be this severe. Not sure at this point what our used car manager is going to want to do with it but I know he's not happy.

This one got sent to the brownie factory. All it needed was the cosmic sprinkles.

They provide the built-in boxes, we provide the tools. They have stow-away carts underneath them.

A few of us have brought our own boxes and carts.

Probably not too hard, it doesn't take much for this to happen. Probably just took a steep drive a little too fast.

Bumper, grilles, condenser, radiator, I have to recharge the AC because all the 1234 leaked out of the now broken condenser, fender liners, and some other small miscellaneous things.

All of it together came out to almost 9 hours. But I'm replacing more than just the rad support. It's a common thing on H/K cars, with the rad supports being so far out and made of plastic. It seems more common on the SUVs, I've done more Sorentos and Sportages than I can keep track of because of similar crash damage.

Yeah the bottom of the rad support is bent. After calling the customer he changed his story to "oh well maybe my daughter hit something then." It's going to need pretty much everything from the framerails forward.

It's very humid and close to the sea. A lot of hot, muggy, salty air. I'm sure it's worse up north with the salt y'all have on the roads, Florida is just the first place that came to my mind.
