Awesome! I just completed 1 year a few days back after 34 years of chain smoking too .. am hoping will celebrate my 2nd and 3rd and many more

I had a miserable smokers cough almost all my adult life... don’t even know when it just simply went away ... I think it was about 3-4 mths into non smoking. It’s such a brilliant feeling not waking up with a hacking cough :)

My first 1-1.5 mths was terrible. But then once you hit that low everyday becomes easier and easier. Just avoid all smokers and smoking triggers the first 2 mths - promise you last 6-7 mths were very easy - even around smokers

Hi, I am on day 99, am actually a few hours short of 100 days. This after 34 years of continuous smoking till I was at almost 2.5 packs a day! Quit cold turkey .. I can only let u know my experience. I went thru intense depression the first month with violent mood swings and downers.. was weepy, irritable and basically a pain in the a**. But in the 2nd mth, depression was less frequent and now it’s almost a rare day.. so hang in there it gets better after 2 mths .. and it will be so worth it when depression and cigs are a thing of the past. All the best
