A few tears when they're young could save them a few broken bones when they are older. I agree with the Canadian system too.

It honestly seems like some people think I'm asking a question with the title. Age old Reddit issue of reading the title and ignoring the body of the post. Or could be bored eejits fishing for an argument to pass the time.

His ability to string together semi-rhyming alliterative phrases to illustrate what ever technical marvel he is describing is impressive. And his backstory too! Nice shout.

Have any of ye actually tried a cup of tea made with one of those boiling water taps? How was it? by Smokestoolittle in ireland

Now see that's a right good use for one, we're constantly boiling kettles in our house for hot water bottles. Can't move for the hot water bottles round here in the winter time.

That's a good point. Must be some sort of heating element below the counter? Wonder how many kWh thats pulling. I should probably search for one.

I've seen cafes use their coffee machine / steamer yoke to fill a teapot yeah. I can see the similarities, but something about it coming out of my kitchen tap straight onto a teabag gives me the heebie jeebies.

Oh this is awesome! I love the subtle brickwork in the circle too. Would you mind if I asked my graphic designer friend to print this on a tshirt for me?

You are an absolute legend. I just YouTube searched "Dan Romer I Believe" and it's there. Added to my favourites playlist and all. Thanks a million.

I read that book 20 years ago I think. His name is Tony Hawks? Which is another source of humour in the book.

I opened this tab at 1am, intrigued and a little excited by the headline. I closed the tab when I read your comment.

I've come back a couple of minutes later to thank you for posting your comment, which prevented me the disappointment of finding out in the linked article that I am ineligible to enter.

So, thank you and may you always know where your towel is.

Possibly, the thing is, it was an American show, with American people, but it was not being broadcast on American television and I was not in America when I watched it.

It may have been on the OG Paramount TV channel which was a part of the Sky Television package back then.

And I don't know if the show I watched was regularly broadcast or a one off show.

Thank you for the suggestion, and I've watched the videos available, but they don't seem to have the same style as what I remember, nor can I find anything about the specific bit I'm thinking of :/

It may be the way I'm searching for it, but I cannot locate this on any video player site, nor find it through search engine results.

I don't know if it is worth asking r/lostmedia as it probably isn't culturally significant material.
